Considering the pending storm that is forecasted to strike Tallahassee and surrounding areas of the panhandle, asks for a collective circle of prayer for Rattlers in the storm’s forecasted line of travel. We ask for protection for all those in the path of the storm and for those that will be the first to respond and assist. As we prepare, would ask that those that can, please evacuate the area and for those that choose to honker down, may God’s embracing arms keep you safe! In light of the university closing on Thursday & Friday and with an abundance of caution, has taken the executive action of cancelling the rattler round up scheduled for this coming Friday, September 27th, at the Holiday Inn on Apalachee Parkway. For those that purchased tickets you will be offered a refund or to have this payment applied to a future rattler round up event. will be in contact with you in the following weeks to determine your preference.

This is a great opportunity for you to meet other high school graduates like yourself that are from New York City, Westchester and Long Island that’s also heading down to Tallahassee next month to embark on their FAMU journey.
