As of today, the Robert Moses Pitch & Putt Golf Course will be closed until May 7th.

The 4x4 areas at Democrat Point, Gilgo & Sore Thumb are now open for fishing. If you have not yet received your dashboard permit in the mail, you CANNOT drive out to these areas. Only vehicles that have been issued physical permits will be allowed in, as long as all visitors have the proper equipment in their possession.

We apologize for any inconvenience this might impose, and we hope that you understand that we are trying our best to continue to service the public as fast as we can during these difficult times.

To encourage social distancing at our facility, Field 4 is now open daily to the public from 10AM to 7PM.

Are you interested in becoming a New York State Lifeguard? There is no prior certification required. There are available spots at Montauk/Hither Hills, Wildwood, Orient, Jones Beach, Robert Moses, Heckscher & Sunken Meadow at the starting rate of $16.11 hour. You must have 20/70 uncorrected vision in both eyes corrected to 20/40.
