We’re back today with another home energy tip: If you’re looking to keep your energy costs ⬇️ as temps ⬆️, below is a window into how to do just that.

❄️Today’s Cool Tip ❄️Uncovered windows facing south or west can heat your house up, making your A/C work harder to keep your home cool. Since windows in these directions absorb most of the sun’s heat, it’s a good idea to invest in good blinds or window coverings and keep these windows covered during the day.

This July 4th, we want to take a moment to recognize the heroes who have fought and died for the freedoms we so often take for granted in our nation ❤️🤍💙

It is because of them that we have the privilege to live and work in a country that values honor, freedom, hard work, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We hope that everyone has a fun and safe day, and don’t forget to thank a service member if you see one.

Halloween is almost here! Here are 8 ways to keep your ghosts and ghouls safe:

🎃 Use battery-operated candles or glow sticks inside your jack-o-lantern.
🎃 Test makeup or face paint on a small area beforehand to ensure it doesn’t cause a reaction.
🎃 Enhance visibility by carrying flashlights, wearing glow necklaces, or placing reflective tape on clothing.
🎃 Walk on sidewalks. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic.
🎃 Take photos of the kids before heading out, then put your phone away and stay aware of what’s happening around you.
🎃 Allow your child only to enjoy treats that are commercially wrapped.
🎃 Write your phone number on an index card and slip it in their treat bag. It will be crucial if you get separated.
🎃 If you must drive in a residential area during trick-or-treating hours, please slow down and be on high alert for children.
