Happy Holidays from Babylon Rotary Club! This weekend was one of our favorite holiday traditions in Babylon… decorating the lampposts! Thanks you for organizing this every year!!
Our club has had a busy couple weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. We were able to use the funds raised at our annual Dirty Sock Run to purchase and distribute 280 turkeys to our local food pantries and the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition! We were also able to do a shopping trip to restock a local pantry.
Thank you to all our volunteer members who help us make these projects happen! We wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. 🦃
Today, we celebrate 3 years since we opened our doors to assist families in need. We cannot express our gratitude to all of you that have given so generously throughout the years. Sadly, there are so many families that are in need of these pantries and services and the numbers just keep growing. We are truly blessed with the most amazing volunteers and with our beloved Spiritual leader, Father Demetrios.

District Governor Tom has been an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness and the "Don't Bottle It Up Campaign" throughout this Rotary year. Thanks to Tom's vision, our District is currently in the process of establishing a Mental Health Initiatives Rotary Action Group!
Together, the group will work on breaking the stigma, fostering agreements, and improving access to prevention and earlier treatment.
Please don't bottle it up -ask for help. Call Response Crisis Center 24/7 for support at 631-751-7500 📞 or call or text 988.
