Happy 25th Birthday to Mayfly and Junebug Designs! Right about this time twenty-five years ago, Mayfly and Junebug was born. I was a young new mom, and I decided to make my own Valentine’s Day photo card to send to family and friends, showcasing my precious first baby. Shortly after that, I made him some little note cards and sent them to friends as thank you notes after his 1st birthday. He was born in May and I was born in June, and that’s the short version of how Mayfly and Junebug began.

Twenty five years and three daughters later, my stationery and gift products have been sold by over 300 retailers and to thousands of customers. Through the highest highs and lowest lows, I’ve kept this little business running. In many ways, this little business has kept me running, too.

I’m so thankful to all my customers, store owners, and industry colleagues over these 25 years. We’ve shared important moments of our lives together. We’ve laughed and celebrated new babies, grand-babies, new puppies and kittens, birthdays, graduations, weddings and anniversaries. We’ve also made it through the unimaginable to see brighter days. And life goes on, and the cycle repeats itself…new babies and little ones come along, and new parents and grandparents become customers and friends.
