Mind-body movement, rooted in ancient Chinese Medicine principles. that will balance the mind, body, Medical Qigong is a unique healing modality that helps bring balance to the body through mind-body exercises or one-on-one table-work sessions.

You can think of it it like acupuncture without the needles! Gentle exercises are performed, moving blood and qi in the body, providing relaxation and pain relief. During table-work, particular points on the body are either lightly held or brushed to facilitate the movement of energy.


When life gets busy, it’s ok to take a step back, to rest, breathe, or take a break.

Sometimes when we step away from the busy-ness of life, we come back with a renewed sense of energy. 

I always give myself permission to do nothing when life gets overwhelming. 

And of course, qi gong is another great way of  “doing” nothing, if you’re someone with a hard time being still. It gives you a chance to breathe and relax, like a mini vacation from life. ‘

When we say “yes” to the things that resonate and say “no” to the things that don’t, we begin to shift our world. 

We attract more of the things we want and less of the things we don’t. 

This has an impact on our health and wellbeing.

There are so many perks to slowing down in this fast paced world. Even if just for 5-10 min a day, it gives the body, mind, and spirit a chance to digest, replenish, and recalibrate. 😌

Slowing down can come in many forms:

🌸Taking 5-10 min to just sit outside and enjoy the weather
🌸Spending time with a pet
🌸Creating a tea ritual
🌸Going for a walk

Don’t be afraid to be bored! Boredom just means your mind is uncomfortable and wants to keep moving. Over time, your mind will learn that being still isn’t so bad. 

Qi gong is an excellent practice for slowing down. It gives the mind something to “do,” so you’re not left feeling bored and ancy. Instead, you’re paying attention to your breath and movement, but what you’re really doing is relaxing the body. It’s the easiest form of meditation!

When you’re feeling tired 🥱 or not well, it’s easy to be hard on yourself. That’s when you need to be extra gentle and nice to yourself! It’s funny that it works out that way.🤷‍♀️

Just a reminder, especially during these times, to be kind and gentle with yourself. ❤️

Get some extra sleep, spend time in nature, practice deep breathing, eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water… some qi gong!

Sometimes it’s just a matter of re-tuning ourselves, to see what we might not have seen before. 

It’s easy to get into the habit of looking for negative or unpleasant things when we’re not feeling great.  When we do that though, we will often find more negative things. 

If we try to look for positive things instead, we end up shifting our energy and feeling better.✨

But looking for positive things isn’t always easy. 

Luckily, there are easier ways to channel positivity…such as qi gong! It helps recalibrate our energy with much less effort.

Qi gong has so many benefits! ✨

Take a look at these benefits backed by clinical trials:

🌟Reduces depression and relieves stress🌟
In this study, those who practiced qigong experienced less anxiety and better moods as compared to those who didn’t. Qigong was also shown to have positive effects on bone and cardiovascular health and improve balance.

🌟Lessens chronic fatigue🌟
In a study, 64 people with chronic fatigue experienced improvements in their symptoms after four months of practicing qigong. They had better mental functioning and less fatigue than those who didn’t.

🌟Boosts the immune system🌟
A review of several studies found that qigong had a noticeable impact on immune functioning. It increased levels of certain immune cells in people who practiced it regularly.

🌟Lessens chronic pain🌟
A study from 2019 followed 72 office workers with low back pain. Half of them practiced qigong at a class for 6 weeks, and the other half did not. Compared to the control group, the qigong participants reported a reduction in low back pain.
