Our Token girl is home ❤️ this Friday will be two weeks with our newest great love and family member.
She captured my heart, and I truly believe she knew I was her momma before I did.
We still carry so much sadness for our baby Deacon, and miss him more than we can put into words. We had no intention of bringing another baby home so soon, but great love and sadness can exist together ❤️…and our Token girl was meant for our family.
She’s so happy, and settling in beautifully ❤️. She’s (very) slowly warming up to her poppa, but I know she loves him in her heart…and we’re taking it even slower with Chloe and Sebastián, they haven’t met each other yet. One day, I hope they’ll all be playing and sunbathing in our yard together ❤️.
Happy Home, Token ❤️…we love you so much ❤️.

We followed Benji’s pace ✨…and his magic shined ✨
Benji is full of energy and love, but as a sweet senior, it’s in spurts, and he needs a “take it easy” pace, too.
When I photograph pups, we go at whatever pace is right for them.
So we took Benji’s lead. We did a short adventure at the park so he could explore, which he was all about. Then we headed downtown where we could take his picture at a mix of spots without him having to walk too far ❤️.
We took plenty of water breaks, had lots of treat time (I think it’s one of his love languages), and of course let him get in all the smells.
Benji has been in the Regional Animal Shelter system for over 3.5 years. Let’s help him get to his home, with his very own treat jar and pup parent(s) ❤️.

Benji ✨ this senior pup will forever have a place in my heart. He’s spunky, so lovable, and affectionate, and you can feel how much he appreciates attention and care.
He’s been waiting a long time for his person, his family who’ll give him the life he deserves. He’s spent about 3.5 years in the WCRAS shelter system.
This is his first edited portrait from our adventure last Saturday. The poppy mural perfectly reflects his spirit.
If you have a heart for seniors, Benji’s the kind of pup I can imagine making your days softer and even more meaningful.
