It was good to stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers from the National Association of Letter Carriers Union on their national day of action. These public servants keep our communities connected — and they deserve a fair contract that reflects the essential work they do for all of us.
In HD 50, we know the value of strong public services and the workers who make them run. Our district is built on community, connection, and looking out for one another — the very values letter carriers embody every day.
I’m proud to stand with them, and proud to keep fighting for working people across HD 50 and across Texas. Solidarity is how we win a better future together.

Huge thanks to DA José Garza, Council Member Mike Siegel, District 7, my LIUNA brothers and sisters, the University Democrats, and Austin Young Democrats for hitting the doors with us today. We had powerful conversations with voters who want a State Representative who shows up, listens, and fights every single day for our community.
