Eric & Danielle were married at Chapel Dulcinea on 7.13.24. We provided floral, officiating, coordination and photography for this wedding. The 6:30- 8:30 time slot at this time of year is perfect for sunset photos.

Corey & Laramie wanted to get married somewhere in Austin. They only wanted us an they were up to whatever / whenever. They met us at Bull Creek District Park in Austin at 8am on a Sunday. It was absolutely beautiful.

We leave for our offical 30th anniversary in the morning. Heading to Santa Fe to hike, eat, consider art.
The kind folks at Chapel Dulcinea made a brick for us to add to the 100’s of other couples bricks that line the path to the chapel, our second home.

Synchronous fireflies last night

This is 30 5-second exposures from last night, combined into one image. I was in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and it was the largest swarm of synchronous fireflies I’ve had the pleasure of observing. If you’re in the region and want to see some for yourself, just try to find a meadow that doesn’t get mowed too often, and doesn’t get sprayed with pesticides ever, and hang out there starting around the end of twilight.

Night time wedding for Eddie & Ruby. March 1st, 2024. 68°.

10 years ago we were in Mendoza, Argentina to photograph a wedding for Andres and Sofia. The wedding was at Sofias hometown church and reception at Septima Winery. Wedding receptions in South America go to 5am. We kept up the whole night / morning. It was a blast! Spent a lot of time exploring Mendoza wineries and harvest. They wrote us last night telling us how grateful they were for Karen & I to be there and capture their wedding weekend. They live in Switzerland at the moment.
