Use Freeway tours instead of this crappy tour company! http://www.freewaybrazil.com.br/freeway/ - They actually provide AMAAAAZING tours instead of the terrible experiences and exorbitant prices with Amazon Adventures. Stay away from Amazon Adventure. Trust me, you won’t regret it and waste your time like I did.
Worst travel-booking experience I have ever had. Failed to provide a travel plan and asked for $3k+ for only 4 nights and 5 days. They promised to create a functional travel plan and failed to do so, leaving me with a really sh*tty situation, and completely ruining my experience in Brazil.

After more than a year of restoration work on its walls, Kuelap, the "Machu Picchu of northern Peru" opens its doors to tourism, allowing entry to a new circuit. 90 visitors per day will have the opportunity to enjoy the site, admiring the grandeur of the walls over 20 meters high flanking the entrance, and the stone-carved figures like opposing serpents.
Upon entering, they will observe the circular structures of the Chachapoyas culture, the friezes that adorn their bases, and they will also witness research work being carried out on some structures, surrounded by the lush landscape of the cloud forests.

Guyana, with a population of about 800,000, is one of the least densely populated countries in the world and only gets around 400,000 visitors per year, mostly Guyanese returning for family visits. But with 90% of its territory covered in pristine jungle and its truly eco-oriented and community-based tourism projects, it has become a more popular nature tourist destination in recent years.

Travel is still rugged here, but it’s worth the effort to track caiman with scientists at night, paddle a river in a traditional native canoe, or hear the thunder of a giant waterfall with no one else around for hundreds of miles.

Big changes will be coming, though. It is expected to become the fourth-largest oil producer in the world, ahead of the USA, and that will create big changes in a country with little infrastructure to manage that amount of wealth so quickly.
