While our small but mighty team is working hard behind the scenes getting organized for the upcoming busy summer months (and adjusting to some unexpected changes), we are frequently adding to the calendar new activities sent over by our partner organizations!

Huge thank you to the Allies families who volunteered to clean up the Violet Crown Trail last Saturday as part of Keep Austin Beautiful Day. They collected 15 bags of trash (including more than 400 cigarette butts! 😵) and 3 bags of recycling! Way to go, y'all! ♻️
And big thanks to longtime volunteer Christine Szczesny for organizing and leading this event! 💚

Our partner Capital City Village is inviting Allies families to their Village Fest on May 2 - a day celebrating community, connection, and creativity! Allies kids get in FREE - message us for the code!

Our partner Texas Gun Sense is looking for helpers for their event next Sunday, April 26 in Buda.
Volunteers needed with set up, check in, arts and crafts, and clean up - all ages are welcome!

Big thank you to all of these volunteers who prepped delivery bags for our bi-annual food drive with ! These tagged bags will be dropped on 6,000 porches in SW Austin to collect food for and our neighbors in need. 💖

We've got a few routes left to deliver Food Drive bags to porches this week/weekend!
Bags will be delivered to you this week and you can choose when to walk your route to leave a bag on each porch on your list. It's super simple and a great activity for the whole family!

🚨 Help Needed THIS Saturday! 🚨

We’re hosting a Bag Tagging Party for our Food Drive with Julie G Homes benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank and we need volunteers!

Come help tag bags - it’s quick, easy, and actually fun!

We also need plastic/paper grocery bags with handles (lots of them) - drop them at any of our locations.

This step is what gets the entire food drive off the ground for our neighbors.

It’s been shared with us that these are often the only hot meals some of their residents have all week - you are truly making a difference in people’s lives. 💕
