An old illustration for resurfaced in last week at the top of a feature about Alamo’s long legacy of killer preshow content. I remember asking if I had time to do a prog-rock style illustration for their video about Dune’s psychedelic music impact. I told him i didn’t, but I’d do it anyway. Could’t pass up the opportunity to draw Christian Vander as a sandworm. Now it’s immortalized in newsprint. 🤘🪱🎸

It’s the best feeling when you get to make art for your friends’ art, especially when it all comes together so nicely. I’m beyond psyched for ‘s first book to come out tomorrow on . If you’re in the Austin area, swing by and celebrate the release at with readings and music by from 7-9pm.

I spent most of my creative time in 2024 working on illustration projects for , and collaborating with some awesome folks along the way. From among the thousand-or-so horses I’ve drawn, here’s one of the most challenging and rewarding creations: a 2025 calendar that features a detachable 12x12” poster crammed with wild Easter eggs. These are available in YETI retail stores across the US and Canada while supplies last.

New blacklight poster for the and screenings of DEMONS with a live score by next month. Should be a slimy good time.

The best month of the year has arrived, and so has a new poster design for the screening of 28 DAYS LATER at . I’ve been vibing with 80s/90s Japanese b2 poster designs lately and tried to channel a bit of their bold graphic nature on this one, which felt like the right approach to Danny Boyle’s harrowing minimalist horror.

My pals at Austin Film Society commissioned a screenprint to commemorate their 30th anniversary screening of Dazed & Confused this September. These will be available for select ticket buyers and anyone who signs up for a LOVE membership this summer (if you don’t have a membership, ‘be a lot cooler if you did). Well it wasn’t a long ride, but it was a good one. Over my two years working with I had the honor of working with some truly legendary artists to produce title designs and layouts for their posters. I want to thank and for trusting me with these incredible pieces, and being so generous and supportive. This wasn’t a big part of my job, but it was one of my favorites, and I will miss it. I also want to express my gratitude to for seeing something in me that even I didn’t, and inviting me to hop on this wild ride.
