Dr. Newman’s journey to becoming a physician began in the fitness industry💪🏾 🏋🏻‍♀️. While working as a personal trainer and nutrition coach, he discovered a passion for helping others improve their health. In his current clinical practice, he continues to implement healthy lifestyle recommendations in addition to progressive medical treatments. 🍎 🏃🏼‍♂️

He earned his bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Southern Utah University and his medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed training in family medicine at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. 🇨🇱

Statista Methodology: 📈

Elective plastic surgery is more popular than ever.
Data released in November 2023 from global intelligence platform Statista showed that 900,000 cosmetic surgical procedures took place in 1997 in the U.S.—and by 2022, that number had grown to more than 1.87 million. A greater number of options for safe, less invasive surgeries and an increasing cultural emphasis on self-care and confidence, according to Statista, have been responsible for increasingly positive societal attitudes toward plastic surgery.

For patients who are considering plastic surgery and looking to find the most highly rated specialists, Newsweek has partnered with Statista for the fourth annual ranking of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons. In total, 379 surgeons were recognized across five types of procedures: breast augmentation, liposuction, facelift, rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery. The top 30 in each category are ranked from 1 to 30, and the rest are listed alphabetically.

To compile the ranking, thousands of medical experts with knowledge of plastic surgery were invited to an online survey in March and April that resulted in the collection of more than 8,400 votes for plastic surgeons representing all surgery categories. 📊

Only surgeons from the 20 states with the most plastic surgeons were included in the ranking, and surgeons who offer only reconstructive or non-elective corrections were excluded from consideration. 📉👨🏻‍💻

Riding on Icelandic horses today on our lava tour, and learning to tolt on my horse, Filla 🐎

The horses of Iceland are a so-called gaited horse breed. This means that most have two extra gaits to offer besides walk, trot and canter/gallop. The extra gaits that set the Icelandic horse apart from other breeds are called tölt and flying pace.

The tolt is a four beat gait with both lateral and diagonal movements. One or two feet are usually on the ground and there is no suspension which makes it smooth to ride. Footfall of the tolt is left hind, left front, right hind, right front.

Being from Texas these horses reminded me of cutting horses a bit, and their shorter stature and lateral movements. Plus they are super sweet animals! 🐴 🇮🇸❄️

Also, the pretty blue flowers that are ubiquitous along the roads are called Lupines and look very much like bluebonnets, the state flow of Texas!

Named one of the 25 Wonders of the World, the Blue Lagoon has an amazingly warm and white blue geothermal seawater.

Found nowhere else on earth, this resource is rich in silica, algae, and minerals—the elements that give the lagoon its skin-nourishing powers for the masks we applied in the lagoon. The water’s milky blue hue is due to its high silica content. The silica forms soft white mud on the bottom of the lake and also makes my hair a sticky mess!

Prepping for and performing aesthetic surgery is like a story unfolding 💙📖. In this story, I was able to walk this amazing lady and popular TikTokker 📲 through her minimally invasive procedures.

I really get into explaining what is to be done during the procedures as well as getting “on the level” of the anatomy when I mark 🖊️ 😷

For the hours of the day that I am operating it’s a total immersion for me {do not disturb sign is on the door! ⛔️}.

This patient underwent lower face & neck pre-juvenation with FaceTite / NeckTite subcutaneous radiofrequency for skin contraction with fat grafting to the jawline, chin, nasolabial folds, and lateral cheeks/ temples. She did this procedure under local anesthesia and ProNox (laughing gas) without even flinching 💪🏾💉!

So follow on and watch the procedures to be posted in near future, and see her 🪞 results appear - at the end of the case I did a double take and told her and my staff that we had found , she looked so much like the missing PoW! 😍💆🏻‍♀️ 👏🏾
