Well it’s finally happening.. hot tea weather in Texas again! At least for today. Kind of. Why drink yaupon? Because it’s local, rich in theobromine (which boosts mood and energy), it has antioxidants, is smooth and roasty, and gives energy without the jitters. ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re carefully coming back to Mueller farmers market starting tomorrow (Sunday 10-2). There’s no sampling, and cups must be taken to go and consumed off-site. We’ll have all our products- cups of tea, loose leaf, tea bags, and concentrates! We have a chip card reader so the transaction can be contactless. And of course, we’ll be wearing masks, and the market asks that all customers wear masks as well. If you’re a farmers market customer, you might have seen we made the really difficult decision to sit this past weekend out. It’s a big hit to our small business, but we felt the tide was turning on the COVID-19 situation and believed it was best to just stay home. We’ll most likely continue to do so for a while.
