We loved watching these young servant leaders serve their neighbors with such love and care. 💙
Our St. Michael's team held an event for female veterans to receive employment and self-care kits on our Austin campus. We provided a safe space for these female veterans to meet, discuss their issues, connect with one another, receive the kits, and learn about other ways we can help them get back on their feet!

Director of CCCTX Brazos Valley, John Paci, recently spoke to KBTX Media about how Catholic Charities is helping keep residents cool during the tough summer months when low-income families struggle to make ends meet as electric bills increase.
“Temperatures are gonna get hotter,” said John Paci, Director of CCCTX Brazos Valley. “Stresses will also increase, so we are eliminating that stress.”

to when our Killeen office completed a beautiful project for our female veteran clients!🇺🇸 The St. Michael's Veterans Team provided female veterans currently interviewing for or starting new jobs with employment and self-care kits. These kits included personal items, hair tools, and a gift card for purchasing professional wardrobe items. We hope this gift helps empower our clients to feel their best as they step into new roles!
All offices will be closed Thursday, July 4 in celebration of the Fourth of July holiday. We will be back open and happy to see you on July 5!

Yesterday, we hosted the seminarians from the Diocese of Austin at our Austin campus! We were able to share all about the ins and outs of through our CC101 presentation, a tour of the office, and a service opportunity where the seminarians helped us organize and move in-kind donations. We are so grateful to Fr. Greg Gerhart (Austin Vocations) and Fr. Will Rooney for sending them our way!👏
During the summer months, families face increased expenses with children in the home and higher electric bills leaving them with difficult choices and compromises to make. According to Texas Health and Human Services, aid programs like SNAP can’t be used for items like soap, paper products, grooming, and home items. In honor of our 25th anniversary, we launched a new initiative this year: the 25 Club! We are thrilled to announce that 60 people have graciously signed up to give $25 or more per month, or to add to their current recurring gift. Sustaining donations not only help with planning and achieving our long-term goals but also create a sense of community among our supporters. Together, we are strengthening our shared mission of helping neighbors in need!
