An Album of some of the various net gun captures Helicopter Wildlife Services did during this years South African capture season, we caught a variety of species as can be seen.

It's not every day that we have two capture pilots on a net gun capture, so I decided at having a go at net gunning again after many many years.....although only for an hour..... Harry Hensberg did the Flying. Didn't do to bad on the net gunning, if I might say myself......but was out of breath mugging the first animal....haha

As a successful capture season comes to an end here in the USA, unlike other capture teams who shut down for 6 months.....We head across the Atlantic to start our capture season back in Southern Africa.....which will be full of Boma/Coral capture, Net Gun capture and Chemical capture.....Helicopter Wildlife Services is probably one of the only wildlife capture companies that catch wildife 12 months of the year..

CORRECTION: Showcasing the DNR: New elk tracking in northern Lower Peninsula This is net-gunning – a process the Michigan Department of Natural Resources used recently in the northern Lower Peninsula to fit 40 elk with GPS collars.
