It’s crazy to me to think how far I’ve come, but then I look at these two pictures side by side. I can see both the physical and the mental change. The one on the left was a day after my 2nd marathon. And to think I thought I was in great shape. I couldn’t even bare to take the picture. I was so ashamed. This was March of 2017.
And now today, 2.5 years later you not only see progress, but you see a women who grew into who she was made to be. I was never perfect along the way, but I continued to show up to be better. I was consistent. Once I noticed my confidence change, I was hooked. The physical one is great too, but I found myself. And that’s why I continue to show up. I want to continue to grow.
And I only share it with you guys so you know that you can too. If you’re ready, i got you. You just have to start. We all start somewhere.
If you follow my stories, you know that I committed to 𝟏𝟎𝟎 workouts. Here’s 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏 and the 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟏 (20 days in).
While I don’t really have weight to lose, you can see the muscle definition difference and that excites me. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 the most exciting part is I’ve been eating all the things I normally eat and only workout for 30 mins max per day. Yet, results still happen!
I get in the nutrition I need, sometimes treat myself to a sweet treat (office celebrations mostly because I have zero self control if I had it in the house) and still make progress to a better me.
I’m absolutely loving this program so far! Every morning I write down my why and one positive intention for the day! 𝐓𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐭!

Hi all! It’s been a hot minute. I’m the worst at keeping you guys updated with fitness posts. I’d like to be more helpful to you all in the health and fitness department with recipes and tips. So in an effort to make an effort...
Let’s talk flexibility.
You may think of stretching as not necessary, but we all need to stretch in order to protect our mobility and independence.
Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, healthy, and allows for more range of motion. Without it, the muscles shorten, become tight, and it can result in injury when you call on your muscles to work for you.
“The areas critical for mobility are in your lower extremities: your calves, your hamstrings, your hip flexors in the pelvis and quadriceps in the front of the thigh."
Your goal should be to stretch after every workout. Over time you will gain more flexibility. And if you aren’t working out, you should still be stretching a few times a week.
It’s easily forgotten and put to the side, because it takes time, but making it priority will only benefit you in the long run. It will keep you running or lifting or just plain moving...and that in the end will keep you moving forward in life.
My goal is to always help you be a better you! So take the time to make yourself a priority. This is one simple thing you can do! If you can’t tell, I’m not the best at it either and vow to be better at it with you!
I’ve literally been meaning to post this all week, but life ya know. Also why this page goes through stages...oops! However, still worth mentioning because maybe you’ll start your journey today.
One of my favorite parts of our trip to El Paso would probably be the last thing you’d expect, but honestly it was getting a workout in together each morning after breakfast before all the activities. I always feel so much better when I start the day moving my body. It gets me in the right frame of mind. Sets the tone and the mood for the day. I want to put my best foot forward and always love sharing it with others. ❤️
It’s about becoming who you are meant to be. Getting mentally and physically stronger by getting out of you comfort zone. Doing hard things. Growing.
Together we really can lift each other higher.

No, I’m never excited to wake up early to get my workout in, but I’m always pumped to have it done after. Simply get it out of the way and get on with your day! It really does make make the rest of the day so much easier to deal with.
The hardest part is getting your butt out of bed, promise! The best part is I just have to go downstairs to get to my gym.
It’s funny how starting this business I just really liked to workout and wanted to help others feel the way I do after a good workout.
I didn’t know how much I would grow. How I’d dream of more and believe I could make those dreams a reality. How I’d become the best version of myself.
This community of women seeking more and empowering other women is just incredible. ✨It’s so much more than just fitness.
They say you are a product of your environment. I sure am glad to be surrounded by such bold, brave, beautiful, and strong women. 💕

Working out from home has been the best thing for ME! I don’t have to go anywhere. I don’t have to schedule it. I don’t have to think. I can switch it up whenever I want. I never get bored. I can do it confidently in my own space. I can break out in dance if I’m feeling the song playing.
It has allowed me to get in the best shape of my life and actually enjoy it because it’s simple. And my team keeps me motivated on the days I just don’t want to. We get better together.

It’s funny to see these side by side. The one on the left is after my 2nd marathon and just before I became a #fitnesscoach. The one on the right was this morning.
It actually gives me a bit of confidence going into the race this weekend to see how far I’ve come physically and mentally. Shout out to my team and #fitfam for pushing me towards better health.
I believe that my consistency will pay dividends even though I don’t feel ready. Or at least I’m gonna tell myself that. 😂 #nerves. Y’all I’m super competitive. But the athlete in me is excited to compete again!

Working out regularly is more than just looking good. We were put on earth for a reason and we can’t fulfill our callings if we don’t take care of ourselves. Your health is your wealth and it simply can’t be taken for granted. 👊🏼 If you’re struggling to stick to a routine, figure out your why, write it down, and stick it somewhere that you see it everyday. If you see it, you may just do it.

Cook the sausage. Cut up everything else into small pieces. Mix it all together. Pour into muffin pan. Bake on 350 for 20 mins.
Easy to heat them up during the week for breakfast!

Some days it all falls apart. Your watch dies before you’re done, you no longer have the beat to your feet, your back starts hurting, your calves are on 🔥 and your legs are still sore from the workout the day before...but what really matter is that you PUSH through it.
There’s a difference between real pain that you should stop and one that you can keep trekking with.
Soreness is not pain. Fatigue is not pain.
It’s all about that E F F O R T. 👊🏼It doesn’t have to be perfect. But as long as you keep chugging, you’ve WON! 🙌🏼

Woke up this morning not in the mood to run 7 miles. Honestly, dreading it. I actually thought to myself, “why do I do this?”
But then my bestie showed up. Our Friday morning running dates are my absolute favorite. 🥰
Running tip: find you a buddy. It makes it so much more enjoyable. The time passes much quicker and we get to catch up on life. Yes, we talk and run. We’re those girls.
What gets you through your runs? Do you have a running playlist? What are your favorite songs? Or do you podcast? Or silence?
Whatever you do, don’t listen to that voice in your head telling you to give up. Anything, but that! 👊🏼
Day ONE of marathon training officially began again today. With less than 10 weeks til race day, I’m kind of freaking out. I’ve always given myself more time. But with that said, my goal is to push hard during each run. To be conscious of my pace and give every run everything I have. I figure if I train with more intent it will make up for lost training time.

Officially sitting down tonight to write out my marathon training plan. I signed up for the Austin Marathon and plan to enjoy this one. I’m not worried about a qualifying time, just wanting to get back into it and find that love of running again.
I plan to continue my strength training and incorporate my running days into it to have a healthy mix. I know what happens if I don’t keep my body strong and just run it to death.
Also lots of core work. I plan to start doing abs daily. Nothing crazy, but a quick 10 mins. Your core is so pivotal to keep strong. It can throw off your running form and cause injuries.
What’s your go to marathon training plan?
The last couple of weeks have felt like complete chaos. I’ve been pulled in so many different directions that I can’t remember what day it is. Work has been nuts x1000000. I haven’t been home a single weekend since September...and all I want to do is eat my feelings. Busyness wears on you 😫. It makes you want to do absolutely nothing whenever you actually get the chance.
As the crazy winds down, I realize that one thing has helped me get through it: my #fitnessroutine. 💪🏼 I set aside 30 mins a day to make myself a priority! Without it I’d be WAY more stressed, I would have gained weight for sure, and as a result be even more unhappy. I’d probably also be a miserable person to be around and that’s not fair to anyone. Did I mention it’s all from home so there’s no hassle of getting to a gym, sitting in traffic, or any nonsense to deal with. 💥
Thankful for this #coaching life to get me through. I’ll never regret saying yes to a better, healthier, and more positive me!
