Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.

These new families are looking for a new EVERYTHING!

Town Hall contacts these new families each week as soon as they move into their new home.

These new families will find new places to eat, work out, wash their car......they need a new Hair Salon, Auto Repair Shop, Dry Cleaner, Pet Groomer, Day Care Facility, Florist, Nail Salon, Pharmacy......you get the idea. They are actively seeking new local businesses and creating new purchasing patterns. They will become someone's next new local, loyal customer.

Town Hall can direct them to you before your competition even knows they are here.

Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one business per category, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being featured in our local Welcome Kits.

I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

Please reply with your availability or call at your earliest convenience.

For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text on the cell which is listed in the signature.

Thanks.

In a previous post, we shared the importance of MELTing. While the traditional cylindrical foam roller is a great tool, its shape and size make it less affective for some areas of the body. ⁣

For a more localized approach to soft tissue work, we direct clients to the Yoga Tune Up Balls by . The small size and density of the balls allow us to target hard to reach areas through a process called “Pin and Move”. ⁣

In the videos below, “pin and move” is demonstrated by using an Alpha Ball to create pressure on a localized spot or “knot” and then moving her arm to create tissue length while maintaining pressure. This process serves to unbind tangled collagen fibers so that the facial web can move more efficiently. ⁣

Interested in knowing more about the MELT process? Visit our profile and check out our post on myofascial release!⁣

Once our T4 youth athletes have developed proper techniques in the fundamental movements and exhibit body control, we can begin to ENHANCE and CHALLENGE these movements. ⁣

One of the ways that we can CHALLENGE these movements is by adding a reactive component by providing the athletes with auditory, visual, or tactile cues prior to starting the movement. ⁣

We can train athletes to become master movers in their sports with reaction drills with one or more environmental cues. When an athlete is presented with one stimulus with only one response option (simple reaction time) they can move more quickly. Though more commonly, they are exposed to multiple stimuli and have to pick the most appropriate response (choice reaction time) which increases reaction time. ⁣

Check out this reaction drill in which T4 athletes are receiving both auditory and visual cues from their environment. Athletes are moving with a shuffle movement pattern, ENHANCED with ViPR PRO to add some load. When they receive the auditory cue to the specific cone color from the coach, they have to CHALLENGE their fascial systems to react and move with speed!

We are always looking for ways to help our clients find new ranges of motion while they 3D move in the sagittal, frontal, and transverse planes. One of the ways we do this is by using the mobility sticks by during the MOLD and MOVE processes.⁣

The flexible design of the mobility sticks allows for an added challenge for bodyweight movements by creating a higher range of motion than what may be offered by another implement. By getting into these newfound positions, clients are able to improve their joint mobilization, fascial strength, and overall stability. ⁣

These improvements give T4 clients the opportunity to reestablish abilities, improve daily living activities, and increase performance with a reduced risk of injury!

We are offering the active older adult a safe and fun environment to work on balance, mobility, and stability! Our coaches will put you or your parents through an adaptable workout with just the right level of intensity given their capabilities.⁣

The Train 4 The Game staff is ready to equip all populations of all ages with the confidence and competence to MOVE better in everyday life! Why do we attack the hip during our MOLD ad MOVE process? The hip is a very complex area with many associated muscles and connective tissues that allow mobility and provide stability at the hip joint. Tightness in these surrounding muscles and tissues reduces the range of motion at the hip which can increase the risk of injury and inhibit peak athletic performance.⁣

Both the hip joints, pelvis and surrounding tissues form a superstructure where a tremendous amount of motion is both created and controlled.⁣

Tremendously powerful – it is a region where a great deal can go right when we successfully transform forces the forces of our bodies to deal with them both from the ground up and from the trunk down.⁣

We’re successful when we find the “goldilocks” amount of both Motion (mobility) AND Control (strength) around this region. ⁣
To a degree, we can handle less than ideal amounts of motion and/or control until a threshold is crossed and we just can’t successfully compensate anymore. This is the scenario when a lot can seem to be going wrong – back pain, hip pain but even knee or shoulder pain can originate from dysfunction in this area.⁣

Often sitting too much, high levels of inactivity, or not moving well can require some specific MOLDing (3D tissue lengthening) at the hip that can go a long way towards making sure we have the available range of motion at these joints. Shown above are some very localized MOLDing techniques designed to find more range of motion specifically in the hip area.⁣

Coupling these local techniques with some total body 3D MOVE (strengthening) exercises can create solutions in a surprisingly short timeline.⁣

Whether in pain or just looking to feel/move better - it may be that you or your clients don’t even realize how much better they could feel until they unlock the power that resides in a healthy hip/pelvis region. @ Train 4 The Game

MELTing is the first step in our MELT, MOLD, MOVE process.⁣

We “MELT” by using different forms of myofascial release prior to every session and for post-session recovery.⁣

The term “myofascial” refers to both muscle and fascia. Fascia is the thin, fibrous tissue between the body’s muscles. This fascial tissue is arranged in a fully integrated connective network through the whole body. So that when healthy, it provides a great deal of structural resiliency and enhances movement capability within our bodies.⁣

"Fuzz" can develop between the muscles and inhibit their ability to easily slide/glide against one another.⁣

The fascial network can⁣
often get "jammed up" when these Fuzz fibers thicken and present a true structural inhibition to our ability to move. This thickening of the FUZZ can often begin with just a general lack of activity, inflammation, acute injuries or even situations of chronic or repetitive overuse.⁣

We MELT by intentionally applying force or pressure to different regions of the body with built-up tension in order to reset it to its smooth and supple state. This MELTing of the Fuzz can increase range of motion, tissue elasticity, and blood flow.⁣

Further, we are more prepared to next MOLD and MOVE - which also serve in their own ways to create a healthier, pain free, and freely moving body!⁣

Do you have any areas that feel tight or just jammed up? Come to T4TG and we can coach you on some helpful MELTing techniques to get you MOVING! @ Train 4 The Game
