when I was 16 I moved from Honduras to Houston and made some really good friends at my new high school. when we went off to college, a lot of them went to University of Texas, and every time I visited them I fell further in love with Austin. that’s why, when I graduated from University of Florida, I moved to ATX as soon as I could. eventually, that led to me being involved in , a week-long music + tech + film festival that takes place across the entire city of Austin and makes it come alive like no other. that is why i’m here today. because i spoke to in Spanish class in 2014.

so crazy to retrace back your steps and see the ripple effects of your actions. and so glad mine led me to this incredible town and to work this incredible festival. Southby, you were more magical than ever this year. i feel like i lived 7 lives in 7 days! thanks to all the coworkers, speakers, mentors, friends, artists (and friends who are also artists) that made it extra special this year. can’t wait to be standing in front of that jarring yet iconic yellow backdrop again next year. 💛

demasiado honrada y emocionada por contarles que este miércoles, 25 de febrero estaré hosteando mi primer evento en ‘Recordando El Ayer’, una noche que celebra la nostalgia y la música al mismo tiempo, porque una no existiría sin la otra. 💭🎶

para hacerlo aún más especial, arrancamos este concepto con nada más y nada menos que mi amigo , un artista DEMASIADO TALENTOSO cuyo camino he tenido el privilegio de ver crecer desde que lo conocí en la universidad en el 2017.
