Houston and Dallas are very diverse; whereas, Austin and San Antonio are not as diverse for opposite reasons. 39% of the population in Texas is Hispanic compared to the nation’s 19%. The Hispanic population being twice as big in Texas is apparent in the big cities of Texas.
