Becoming the Captain of Your Subconscious Mind
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
That quote is from famed psychologist C.G. Jung. And truly grasping (and experiencing!) the magnitude of what Jung meant when he said those words changed my life forever.
HINT: it’s the difference between being AT CAUSE vs IN EFFECT. And grasping that concept is nothing short of life-changing.
More on that later, but for now:
Did you know that you and I -- and more to the point, those who we coach and lead -- go through our day-to-day lives operating, reacting to, and making decisions about our world at the subconscious level...
...95% of the time. WOW!
It’s true.
We just don’t realize we operate that way because, well… these are subconscious actions. Just like the beating of our hearts, our breathing rate, maintaining our body temperature, and the laundry list of other things the subconscious mind controls without our conscious mind being aware of it.
Knowing that, then, what if we learned how to leverage our conscious mind to re-write the “programs” of our subconscious to make day-to-day decisions that would enlift rather than sabotage us?
Think of the impact that would have on your clients.
Imagine how that would elevate your relationships. Not to mention your ability to lead.

The point is not to do everything at once. That only leads to overwhelm.

Another exercise that's easy to scale.
Just be creative and have some fun. Exercise doesn't have to be a chore to be wildly effective.
One of the things I love to do is to take a basic exercise - in this case, the simple pull up - and turn it into a TON of different variants.
This is just a small sampling of what you can do with a pull up.
Imagination is your only limit. AND you can scale just about anything. Remember: the movement just needs to be challenging for YOU.
Progress comes step by step.
