This is Alice - a client of ours and a dear friend of mine (Jill). I had the pleasure today of picking her up and taking her to get groceries. We had an awesome time celebrating the world's best volunteers at The ABGB last Sunday! We love our volunteers and the compassion they have for those we serve. Part of our mission is helping older adults avoid social isolation. One of our volunteers at the event said volunteering to drive our clients helps her just as much as it does them - she lives alone and told us she too, finds so much joy in having the honor to connect with our clients during one-on-one rides. True happiness is found in community! Enjoy a few pics!
