This summer at Ski Shores was pretty epic. Yeah, it was hot as heck, but hangin’ out on Lake Austin with everyone was a blast and got us through it. Thanks to all of you who came by boat, car, or paddle board to attend our special events (including Friday’s Live on the Lake, Father’s Day Party and Vintage Ski Show, Fourth of July Weekend on the Lake, and Doubles Classic Pickleball Tournament) or to just grab a cold beer, frozen margarita and basket of chicken tenders with family and friends. We are grateful to all of who think of Ski Shores as your second home.

This upcoming weekend will be the final one of the season before we take a short winter break. Don’t worry—we’ll be back soon.

So, come on out and get one last piña colada, bowl of green chili queso, and Scooter burger and help us go out with a bang.

It's that time of the year...lake season is back, y'all. Here's what's going down out at Ski Shores as things start heating up.

Live on the Lake on Fridays return, our classic summer favorites (both cocktails and food) are back on the menu, AND we're now open Tuesday through Sunday.

Get your swimsuits ready because it's show time at the Shores.

Our favorite way to stay warm? Cozied up inside the festive Winter Lodge, fireside with a table full of Texas comfort-food favorites, like Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Spinach Artichoke Dip to name a few...there's a seat waiting for you. C'mon by!

LIVE MUSIC on 12/23 & 12/24 with special performance by piano player, RED YOUNG, starting at 4pm.

And heads up, we'll be closed Christmas Day.

We're kicking off our Winter Lodge Live Music Series at Ski Shores TONIGHT. Yep—every Friday afternoon, from 4-6pm, we'll have special artists come and take the outdoor stage. Tonight, we're getting the show started with the Robert A. Kraft Trio!

C'mon by early and try our new Texas-comfort dishes and holiday cocktails and settle in for an evening of fun in our little winter wonderland on Lake Austin.

Oh, and just in case you needed another reason to head out to the lake, the performance starts at the exact time happy hour does...from 4-6pm (Wednesday - Sunday), when we're offering half price burgers, wings & holiday cocktails. See you tonight!

In addition to our classic menu, the Winter Lodge menu features Texas comfort foods (think Green Chicken Enchiladas, Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Mexican Chicken & Rice Soup, Wick’s Chili and more). Holiday cocktails include Irish Coffee, Boozy Frozen Nog, Winter Lodge Old Fashioned) plus, wait for it, fireside s’mores!

Even on the coldest days, the indoor dining room will be warm and welcoming with tableside service as well as seasonal music and a roaring fireplace. Outdoor fire pits, heaters, and blankets will make patio and dock seating even more enjoyable. Walk-ins are welcome, no reservations accepted.

The Winter Lodge at Ski Shores Cafe will be an annual tradition on Lake Austin for years to come.

Pickleball, cold beer, cocktails, live music, AND a beautiful sunny weekend?! We'll have it all at Ski Shores this Thanksgiving weekend for the first annual Ski Shores Doubles Pickleball Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Whether you're participating in the tournament or not, it's going to be a fun couple days out on Lake Austin including performances by the one and only Dale Watson and Croy & the Boys.

Here's the rundown:

Saturday, 11/26:
12-5pm: Men's Bracket
5-7pm: Special performance by Dale Watson

Sunday, 11/27:
12-5pm: Mixed Bracket
5-7pm: Special performance by Croy & the Boys

So, c'mon out to the lake to cheer for your pals on the court, our special guests, and the holiday season. We'll see you this weekend!

Ski Shores Cafe on Lake Austin is proud to host the First Annual Ski Shores Doubles Classic, a three-day pickleball tournament Thanksgiving weekend (November 25-27, 2022).

The weekend includes three 16-team tournament brackets (Womens, Mens, and Mixed), live music, drink and food specials, and all the winning cross-court d***s you can hit. LIVE MUSIC on the Ski Shores Stage Saturday & Sunday from 5-7pm, too!

$200 entry fee for each team of two which includes tournament registration, team gift bag, two drink tickets for each team member, merch, apparel, and pickleball accessories. Prizes include trophies and medals! Brought to you by Recess Pickleball, Rambler Sparkling Water, and Ski Shores Cafe. A portion of the weekend's proceeds benefit Our Shared Kitchen.

16 teams, single elimination bracket tournament
November 25: Women's
November 26: Men's
November 27: Mixed

Noon-6P.M., daily

Official line judges and score keepers; Official MC Host; Bleachers for spectators; Ball girls and boys; BYOP-bring your own paddles.

Ski Shores Cafe, the Lake Austin icon, has OFFICIALLY opened its doors and docks.

Open seven days a week, the refreshed and revamped waterfront legend will feature a menu of classic lakeside favorites—think nachos, burgers & sandwiches, fried catfish & chicken tender baskets, and specialties including grilled fish tacos. There's plenty of drinks, too—frozen margaritas, ice-cold beer, chilled wine, and specialty cocktails.

The space offers multiple options for dining and drinking: lakeside porch and bar, front lawn with fire pits & shaded picnic tables, and indoor dining room with the “Captain’s Bar".

We can't wait to see you and your crew out at Ski Shores—where it's always the weekend!

Gone Fishin': Ski Shores Cafe on Lake Austin and Barton Springs will be closing today for the next several months. MML Hospitality is excited to reopen both in Spring 2022 for burgers, beers, and more! The Lake Austin location will continue as Ski Shores Cafe while the Barton Springs spot will transform into the second Lou's (Lou's Barton Springs) joining Lou's Eastside.
