For those of you who have inquired about Shutterbridge & launch date, we are working out some bugs right now but will be opening it up to Photographers only soon to start signup. Thank you for your patience, I know you all are excited to use this marketplace and we are excited to be bringing it to you.

Entering our last phase before testing and getting this marketplace out to everyone. 🤞🏽 Hoping it serves as a useful tool for all it’s users.

As things get closer and I start to finish up my checklist of to do’s, I have started battling this overwhelming feeling. It’s a familiar feeling, a feeling I get every time I’m about to set out into something unfamiliar. Something that is going to take ME standing at the edge and jumping in and hoping I’m strong enough to swim. That feeling is fear. When I get scared my initial instinct (which is common for all) is to freeze. I stop what I’m doing and start questioning every single thing until my brain can figure out the easiest way out. This is my newest battle and it will always be the hardest battle, the battle with myself.

Question: Can I do this?
Answer: If it’s been done before, there is no reason you can’t succeed.
p.s. You already are doing it!!

Question: Am I good enough, maybe someone else will be better?
Answer: You are not perfect but you are good enough.

Question: What if I fail?
Answer: “Oh but darlin’, what if you fly?

Life is all about risk, we take them all the time in love & in daily living. We take risk often without even considering the consequences. This risk is trusting myself and knowing that failure is inevitable. The key is to make calculated risks and have small failures, learn and risk again. We are all warriors.👩🏽‍🎤

One of the reasons behind starting Shutterbridge is that being a photographer myself, I wanted to be able to find a way to make a consistent living (doing what I love) and wanted my photographer friends to be able to do the same. Marketing yourself and word of mouth can be a full time job in and of itself for a photographer. At Shutterbridge, our photographers will be able to fill in all of their open availability & block out unavailable days. This allows them to have the ability to always stay booked and focus more of their time on their craft and customers. 📸

We are getting closer and closer to finishing up the site. I’m getting SO excited! 🤗 This has been a work in progress for some time now. A simple thought that I built on and now is coming to fruition. It is the most fulfilling feeling and I can’t wait for everyone to have the ability to take part in it, be it as a client or as a photographer using the service to fill in their open availability. Thanks for supporting me on this journey everyone!
