You may or may not be surprised how difficult it is for women to get treatment sometimes. Here's a good way to advocate for yourself with the doctor. Another way to advocate for yourself is to ask "will you put in my chart that I asked for this test and you did not believe it was necessary?”
TRIGGER WARNING!!! This is an excellent example of covert narcissistic behavior, and at the end it gives an example of reactive abuse. Many of you struggle with family members that show this behavior on a regular basis and don't understand how they become so reactive and responsive to that abuse. It's like being slowly drained to death by mosquitoes and expected to never slap the mosquitoes so eventually you just start slapping everything around you
