desperate due to the fact their crops are getting ready for harvest. The problem is migrant workers who usually pick the
ir crops are locked out of the country. They are very worried they will go bankrupt.
I believe I have a solution. Schools are closed. Let the kids pick the crops. They have energy and would get a kick helping the farmers. Saving accounts could hold their paychecks. We would need a waiver of the child labor laws. Also, all would need to be tested. But what a great way to start the process of "back to normal". And the kids would be heroes. Please pass this along and feel free to add addition ideas for us to return to normal.
Currently their home has been deemed unliveable and will need to be torn down. The home was uninsured as it was a mobile home which are extremly hard to cover. As you can imagine this is going to be very costly for clean up, removal and finding them a new home.
We are now working hard to clean up the damage and find them a new home but need help..
My grandparents do not like to ask for help and would NEVER ask anyone for money. They live to serve others and have been doing so their whole lives. Lets rally together and help them in their time of need.
First and foremost we are asking for your prayers for my grandparents and everyone affected by this storm. There are so many lives changed by the destruction of this storm. If you have the means to donate we would greatly appreciate it.
John and Melba Bowles have touched so many families with their love, service, prayers, and generosity. We ask that you might seek the Lord on how you can be a part of blessing this family who has been such a blessing to others.
The prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective (James 5:16) so if you feel led to pray, pray. Romans 12:13 says that we should share with the Lord’s people who are in need, so if you feel led to give, please give.
We probably should evacuate...so, help if u can n if nothing else share the link.

Join us to to support students and help create meaningful art opportunities for them this Saturday from 9am-2pm at Del Valle High School

Launched in December of 2006 with the support of contemporary artist Shepard Fairey, HOPE works to provide ways for creatives to donate their time & talent towards causes, campaigns, projects, and events with social & humanitarian impact. Over the past 12 years thousands of individuals, artists, musicians, and organizations have joined the movement.
