AAPG Student Chapter meeting on Thursday at 5pm in JSG 3.222 do discuss funding for ACE in May and gauge interest for an upcoming short course offering. Hope to see you all there.

The AAPG Student chapter is hosting a dinner and information session at the Clay Pit Restaurant this Thursday night at 7 p.m. for graduate students interested in the Imperial Barrel Award Competition and its associated spring semester class. Please RSVP to Gordon Smith's email [email protected] if you want to attend.

Last few days to register for the GCAGS meeting to be held in Austin October 20-23. Should be fun.

Directions for AAPG Sign-Up
1) Go to www.aapg.org

2) On left hand side, click Membership tab

3) Scroll down and click Students

4) Click sign up

5) Click new account

6) Create account, then fill in profile

7) Then near top click “Applications”

8) Select Applications for Students (Either Self-Pay or Chevron-Pay)

9) Select “Apply Online”

10) Fill out application and select “Submit”

11) Pay (if you do self-pay) or confirm Chevron payment
