Looks like beautiful weather this weekend, so I have a fun Saturday planned! Join us for our monthly Craft Social to make new friends and score free supplies. Bring a project to work on and anything you want to donate to the swap, and of course a bag to take home anything you like.

You can also RSVP for the wood burning class that will follow directly after, to get some beginner skills in woodburning, or home you're already existing love of this fun craft. RSVP for the class in the bio or using the QR code in the pic.

Tomorrow! Come by and connect... I know we're all feeling verklempt right now. Plus, I'm bringing three bins of free craft supplies to gift. Bring a book, project to work on, a planner that needs organizing, whatever you like. Looking forward to some good vibes and connecting with both old and new friends 💜

My grandmother was a N**i, and as a little girl was used to recruit other children to "Hi**er Youth". She had an awakening during the war, fell in love with a Mexican American soldier, and moved to the US, where she was vocal against the dangers of fascism, going so far as to write a book on the subject. My mother was raised from that trauma and awareness, and would herself go on to be a respected activist revolutionary, working with undocumented day laborers, and creating a nonprofit for getting used and their mothers.

By 18 I had lead protests, was billy clubbed and tear gassed by cops, and witnessed firsthand the daily anguish of the working class being exploited in millions of ways. I was lucky enough to study the true history of the US, Capitalism, Marxism, Feminism, and had many moments of crisis in my life over the awareness that capitalism it a self-eating predator, and would inevitably lead to a dictatorship, fascism, police state, etc.

Now, it seems like this doomsday scenario is knocking on our front door. It's what I believe to be the last violent death throws of capitalism and patriarchal society, and it is ugly to say the least. I'm having to meditate daily on how to stay hopeful and prepare for the fight... how to be an ally, and strong, and centered, when on the inside I am so scared, and sad, and angry.

For any one of you feeling the same, I'm with you. For any marginalized person being hurt yet again by this corrupt system, I'm with you. As for myself, I'm looking for ways to connect with community in the flesh, where we can't be as easily manipulated as social media. I'm looking to grow my own food, and store water, and set up resource pantries, in case of crisis. I'm looking to form connections with those I can be an ally to, and who maybe an ally to my family in a time of need.

We have our monthly gathering this Saturday, February 1st, 12-2 as usual. I can't wait to sit with good people and find some comfort. If you are feeling the same, please know you are welcome. Connection, interpersonal sharing, and real life community are the only things that can fight what is coming 💜

It's that time again, to gather and use our magical intention and energy as a group to reflect on the last year, release things that are weighing on us, and refocus ourselves on what we want to create this next year.

I will guide you through some intentional journaling at the start. Then we will take the focused thoughts and awarenesses we gain, and create a beautiful visual multimedia collage to manifest the things we want for 2025.
