What great time I had dancing around the living room. Haha

Shout out to the Harlem Swing Society for putting these talented Jazz age dance moves to popular breakbeats from the late 70s/80s to show and prove how long we’ve been doing this footwork. When you know real history and have plenty of receipts, it’s easy to bomb ass on people that try to steal your story and your glory. If you don’t know your history then anyone can tell you anything and you’ll believe it. That s**t doesn’t work over here. Black Americans must learn that it’s okay to invite people to “the cookout” but you’re an idiot if you let the guests take over the whole fu**in house. I fiercely protect my heritage with no compunction whatsoever and I hope more of us start to do so too. We’ve been taken advantage of for a very long time because we’ve been trained as a people to care more about the fate of others over ourselves. It’s enough. Anyway, never forget to show love and please remember the names of the real pioneers. 🙏🏾
