Driven DynamiX, an Austin-based innovator, redefine motion simulation with “DDX Prime” - a compact and cost-effective six-degree-of-freedom racing simulator, built on a proprietary stack of mechanics, electronics, and ultra-low-latency software.

Raw telemetry arrives at Dynamo. Roughly 3.5 ms later, on DDX Precision, an accelerometer on the platform detects motion. Filtering and cue construction, transmission to our controller, servo response - every stage in between is measured, and every stage is ours. The rest of the chain, the part every motion system inherits, lives upstream in the simulation - and DDX PreActiv goes after that part, predicting where the car is going, not where it was. We published the whole budget; link in bio.

A college sim club came by DDX HQ and got to try a little bit of everything.

From one of our first Prime builds to the DDX Precision released earlier this year, they got to see and feel how much the DDX experience has evolved. It’s always fun having people in the shop who are genuinely excited about sim racing. Click the link in our bio to schedule your demo

The best feedback comes from getting in the car.

In this clip from our Finland rally video, Johannes Suomalainen, Key Account Manager at Simucube, talks about why real driving experience matters for product development, and how partners like DDX help translate what drivers feel into engineering language.

That is what this trip was really about: driving, learning, and bringing that reference back into what we build.

What a weekend at the Sim Gaming Expo!

Big thank you to everyone who came by the Simucube booth, tried the DDX Precision, and spent some time with us. We’ve had an amazing time in Chicago.

If you haven’t driven it yet, there’s still time. Come find us before the expo wraps up.

A few shots from day one in Chicago.

We’re back at Sim Gaming Expo today with the DDX Precision in the Simucube booth, so if you didn’t get a chance to drive yesterday, come by and get in the seat.

“Last year, Chicago gave us one of our favorite weekends of the year. A lot of laps, a lot of first reactions, and a lot of people experiencing DDX motion for the first time.

Now we’re back, and Sim Gaming Expo starts tomorrow. This time, we’re bringing the DDX Precision. Come find us in the Simucube booth and get behind the wheel.”

We talk a lot about latency because it has a direct impact on how connected a simulator feels.

Alex recently ran a user study to better understand how much delay drivers can actually detect and where that delay starts to affect the experience. The results gave us real data to work from and another way to validate the decisions we make when developing DDX systems. For us, that is what R&D looks like: test it, measure it, and use the results to build something better.

The wheel should not feel disconnected from the car.

In this clip from our Finland rally video, Alex explains how DDX and Simucube are working together to bring more real feedback into the wheelbase, using telemetry, physics, and prediction to help the driver feel the car load up on gravel.

It is one more piece of what we are chasing: a simulator that feels connected from the platform to the wheel.

We spend a lot of time putting professional drivers in the DDX Prime. Sometimes it is more entertaining to hand it over to our CEO Alex’s wife.

Melissa takes the Prime for a drive. Alex may have underestimated what he was getting himself into...
