Lonely Is an Eyesore is a compilation album released in 1987 by the influential independent label 4AD. Showcasing the label’s roster at the time, it includes standout tracks from artists like Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, and Throwing Muses—capturing the ethereal, avant-garde spirit that defined 4AD’s sonic identity in the late '80s.
Lonely Is an Eyesore was released in several different formats: LP, CD, and cassette.
