This project was an absolute pleasure. We wanted to honor Robert Heinlein, his classic book “Starship Troopers”, the infamous ship featured within, as well as the hero whom the ship is named after, Congressional Medal of Honor awardee SGT Rodger W. Young, KIA 31 July 1943, Solomon Islands.

If the UCSS RODGER YOUNG had a ship’s store, we’d like to think you might find similar keepsakes after you came aboard.

Jack and Marilyn team up against the Red Peril in this Pipe Hitters Union project. Marilyn is rocking the PPK in a thigh holster and an MPL by Walther; Jack has the baller-for-the-era C**t National Match, suppressed. Don’t overthink it, you’ll hurt yourself.

Soft throwback, but such a blast to work on. thanks for always being down for awesomeness. When I attended seminary, the Dean was a retired Blackbird pilot. Great dude. Very easy going and really great with the students. Simple life problems didn’t phase him, which makes sense if you’ve had to eject from high performance aircraft, I reckon.
