Eastside Music School seeks a dedicated, passionate vocal instructor to join our vibrant music faculty. Formed in 2010 and located in Downtown Austin, TX, we have earned a reputation for being one of the best music schools in town. We work with many adult students and creative individuals at Eastside Music. Our facilities and programming reflect the professional, warm and welcoming environment we strive for. Our lesson rooms are outfitted with Steinway and Yamaha pianos and our school is technology forward!
Scheduling, invoicing and all administrative tasks are handled by our outstanding Admin team so teachers may focus on instruction. You'll never have to chase down a delinquent payment or juggle scheduling requests, and you'll always be paid for lessons on your calendar.
We have an in-house recording studio and host monthly open mic nights and bi-annual recitals, so there's plenty of opportunities for students and teachers to perform, record and become a part of our musical community.
Our current need is for a Vocal Instructor with availability on one or more weekday evenings. Our teachers are independent contractors and are paid via direct deposit on the 1st and 15th of every month. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of a bachelors in music (performance, education, or related field) and at least 3 years of teaching experience.
We've worked hard to cultivate a positive and enjoyable work environment. Our students reflect this positive attitude and it's of the utmost importance that our instructors enjoy teaching and are excited to be a part of our team.
If you think you're the person for the job, please reply with a resume and brief cover letter stating why you'd like to join our team.
Thanks and excited to hear from you!
