It's getting HOT out there Austin!
Here are some tips for staying hydrated in this HEATπŸ₯΅πŸ‘‡

✨Carry a water bottle with you and make it a habit to take sips throughout the day.
✨Set reminders on your phone to drink water, especially if you have a busy schedule and tend to forget (there are apps for this too!)
✨Add electrolytes such as nuun tablets (less sugar) after completion of exercising for an hour, or Liquid IV if you are continuing to exercise over an hour because it has sugar (glucose) to help provide extra energy to keep moving.
✨Add in some hydrating foods such as watermelon, strawberries, citrus fruits, cucumber, and/or leafy greens.

Hydration is not just about quenching your thirst but also keeping your body functioning at its best. πŸ’ͺ

So listen to your body's signs of hydration and make sure to prioritize drinking enough water each day.
Your body will thank you! 😊

Research says yes - when added to physical therapy programs, deadlifts can significantly improve function and reduce disability.

πŸ”ŽIn one study, patients followed a 16-week rehab protocol of mobility exercises plus hip hinge movements progressing to deadlifts. 83% saw clinically meaningful improvements in pain and function!

πŸ”ŽAnother trial added deadlifts to standard PT for 3 months. The deadlift group reduced their low back disability and pain scores much more than PT alone.

Deadlifts dynamically load and strengthen back muscles and train better movement patterns in a progressive, controlled way.
