Are you avoiding Deadlifts because someone told you they'd "wreck your back"?

Many people avoid them out of fear of injury or simply lacking confidence in the movement.

Totally understandable! The name "deadlift" doesn't exactly sound welcoming, plus there's tons of misinformation online leading to assumptions they are a high-risk movement. ๐Ÿ˜ซ

But the reality is injury rates are LOW even for those with back pain!!

Research increasingly supports including them in rehab programs under guidance. ๐Ÿ”

Deadlifts can safely strengthen back muscles, improve movement patterns, and reduce pain when progressively loaded with good form.

Check our latest blog to understand why they may benefit even those with low back issues and ideal strategies to implement them. ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ”—https://resilient-rx.com/are-deadlifts-safe-to-do-with-low-back-pain/

If you've avoided deadlifting because of injury fears or other reasons, tell us about your experience in the comments! ๐Ÿ’ญ

Do deadlifts safely reduce low back pain? ๐Ÿค”

Research says yes - when added to physical therapy programs, deadlifts can significantly improve function and reduce disability.

๐Ÿ”ŽIn one study, patients followed a 16-week rehab protocol of mobility exercises plus hip hinge movements progressing to deadlifts. 83% saw clinically meaningful improvements in pain and function!

๐Ÿ”ŽAnother trial added deadlifts to standard PT for 3 months. The deadlift group reduced their low back disability and pain scores much more than PT alone.

Deadlifts dynamically load and strengthen back muscles and train better movement patterns in a progressive, controlled way.

โœ…So while deadlifts seem counterintuitive for back pain, structured programs can help reduce symptoms and regain strength and mobility.

Feeling more aches and pains than usual?

๐Ÿค” It might be more than just physical symptoms at play!

2๏ธโƒฃ Recognize the signs before they evolve into chronic pain.
3๏ธโƒฃ Take proactive measures to address both your mental and physical well-being.

Your body and mind are interconnected.
Listen to them both! ๐Ÿ‘‚โค๏ธ

Hydration is a balance of minerals and molecules in our bodies. ๐Ÿงฌ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ”ฌ

It isn't just about drinking waterโ€” it's also about replenishing our essential electrolytes. โšก

Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium are crucial in keeping us hydrated and maintaining optimal body function.

Sodium, in particular, facilitates osmosis, directing where water needs to go in our cells.

Without it, cells can either burst from too much water or shrink from dehydration!

An electrolyte imbalance can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, irregular heartbeat, and muscle cramps.

So next time you see 'electrolytes' on your sports drink, remember that it's not just a marketing buzzword - it's a key player in your hydration and overall health.

To learn more about the power of electrolytes, check out the link in our bio and read more on the blog.
