Warm and sunny this weekend. Time to start using our pools again.
Oak blooms,tassels,and leaves are falling at a fast rate right now. If your pool lies underneath any live oaks then you know what I'm talking about. In this case, even though we come every week, you should empty out your skimmer baskets and cleaner bags daily or even twice daily. The tassels make their way through the skimmers and pump baskets ending up in your filters. This is why we perform filter breakdowns at the end of April every year. Wind gusts in Austin are up as high as 65mph!!! In conditions like this it is important to make sure to empty your skimmer baskets daily. We are approaching March(live oak season) all the leaves will be falling followed by tassels and oak buds. This is a 6-8 week process. Once you're thru that, it's time to breakdown you're filters.
