Flashback, Ghost of Christmas Past Edition. This is the State Theatre feature in the Austin American-Statesman on December 24th, 1935 announcing the grand opening on Christmas Day. Stateside at the Paramount was the first theatre in Austin built specifically to show motion pictures and opened with The Bride Comes Home, featuring Claudette Colbert and Fred MacMurray. To 77 years!
