Gift cards are great... but handing someone an envelope? 😴

Here's a fun way to make a gift card feel like an actual gift. These laser-cut gift card holders are quick to make, easy to customize, and perfect for birthdays, holidays, teacher gifts, and so much more.

Would you make yours look like a present... or something completely different? πŸ‘€

Shakers are one of those projects that never get old. ✨

Whether you're making ornaments, keychains, gifts, or home decor, adding a shaker element is an easy way to make your projects stand out. And once you make one... it's hard to stop.

What would you turn into a shaker first? πŸ‘€

Anyone else turn every hobby into a business? πŸ˜‚

I'm trying really hard to keep pottery as just a hobby this time. We'll see how long that lasts. πŸ‘€

If you're running a shop or a booth, your time really matters!

So I created the ✨Mini Makers Club✨ β€” a $5/month membership designed specifically for makers who sell kids’ craft kits.

Every month you get 2 brand-new kid-friendly SVG file sets you can cut, paint, and package into best-selling kits. (Each set includes 5-6 files)

Seasonal, adorable, and perfectly simple for little hands.

Let me do the drawing, while you do the selling. Join now and get your first file instantly!!

It's funny how the smallest projects can end up bothering you the most. πŸ˜‚

Every time I walked through my front door, this sign caught my eyeβ€”and not in a good way. So I finally gave it the makeover it deserved, and I can't believe I waited this long.

Now it makes me smile every time I come home. πŸ’›

Do you have a DIY project you've been putting off? Tell me what it is in the comments! πŸ‘‡

Ever wonder how Just One More Project got started? πŸ‘€

I figured it was finally time to share the story.

From how I grew up to why I always try to do the right thing, this is the journey that led me to starting JOMP. ❀️

I'd love to know what inspired you to start doing what you love?

Adobe Illustrator just released a new AI feature called Concept to Vector, and I decided to test it using some adorable artwork from my friend Genna Blackburn. 🐸
The feature lets you take raster artwork, sketches, or photos and turn them into editable vector artwork using prompts.

The 3-color option was fun…
But the Line Art option? πŸ‘€

THAT is the one I'm excited about.

As someone who creates a lot of scored laser files, I spend a lot of time tracing artwork, cleaning up paths, and getting everything laser-ready.

If Concept to Vector can help speed up that process and create clean vector line art from existing artwork or sketches, that's a pretty big deal.

Too soon to tell if it'll replace my current workflow β€” but I will absolutely be experimenting with it nonstop for the next few weeks. πŸ˜‚

Personalized notebooks are one of those laser projects that never get old.

They're quick to make, engrave beautifully, and are perfect for gifts, teachers, coworkers, students, or even your own desk. It's such an easy way to turn an everyday notebook into something unique.

Definitely another project people don't realize you can make with a laser. πŸ‘€

What would you engrave on yours? πŸ‘‡

Just got back from Ignite 2026 at Thunder Laser headquarters and I already want to go back. ❀️

Every year Thunder Laser USA | Laser Engraving & Cutting Machines brings their community together for a full week of learning - rotary engraving, hat patches, photo engraving, machine maintenance, LightBurn, selling your work β€” and this year did not disappoint.
I got to teach the creative side of acrylic, and every attendee walked away with their own handmade shaker keepsake. Watching people make something for the first time is genuinely my favorite thing.

If you were there this year β€” what was your biggest takeaway? Tell me in the comments. πŸ‘‡
