The lei is a "double" lei.
The hand bouquet contains a few gallardias (School flower), maroon daisy mums and solidago, to carry out the school colors theme.
I prefer 2 weeks' advance ordering on leis, sometimes we have to special order in the orchids. The hand bouquets I can do with a week's notice. Note that Gallardias aren't available for any graduations other than late May/early June, but we can get flowers in school colors.

Memorial flowers. Portrait went on the easel in the middle.
Mechanics: 32” -1”x6” in front with 3 1/2 pieces of foam. The 2 side pieces are the rest of the original 1”x6”x6’ board- cut in half after 1st cutting off the 32”, with 3 pieces of foam. A little chicken wire across top of all, & then taped on. Boards sprayed black befire used.
50 Freedom roses, 1 bu. lilies, 2 bu. spray roses, 2 bu. stock, 10 stems dendros, 1 bu. snaps, 2 bu. boronia, 1 bu. caspia, 1 bu. each Salal, Italian ruscus, & seeded euc. Used a little cenizo foliage, too.

for a dear friend’s wife’s memorial service. There will be side pieces with flowers designed as if a garden is encircling her photo+ more flowers draping down in front.

I am retiring from full fledged floral event services. I'll still be freelancing with some shops, and will do events for former clients and friends.
What I do plan on doing is teaching classes on "Designing from Your Yard." I'll teach methods that don't require floral foam (a petroleum product.) We'll use containers you already have,and flowers and greenery from your yard (or you can swing by your local florist or market and purchase some blooms.:) I want folks to know that you can always have something of beauty in your home! We'll have a lovely snack/tea on vintage china with real silver, but it will be a very casual event. I plan on starting these fall of 2023.
By the way, it's also a fun event to do with bride and bridesmaids- but several weeks before the event- you don't want to ruin your hands right before the wedding!

Fall table design for Dripping Springs Women's Club luncheon today. All is fresh except for the pumpkins and a few "silk" fall leaves.

It was my honor to create this garden for a memorial service today, for a woman who loved wildflowers & nature.

The flowers for Queen Elizabeth’s casket are lovely. I like that they look more like a gathering fron the garden & the heaths of Scotland than a really formal design.

I love that there is no foam usd-the base is English moss & oak branches. Bravo for Charles for requesting that!

Flowers Sunday for a memorial service & the reception afterwards. I set up the table coverings as well as designed the flowers.

These flowers are for the husband of a dear friend & church member. He was proud of his Scottish heritage. The flowers reflect that. I used Green Trick dianthus to mimic moss on stones in a Scottish glen. Red roses are tucked in deeply, to bring Rabbie Burns’ poem “My Love’s Like a Red, Red Rose.” Thistles, of course. “Bluebells,” wax flowers mimicking heather on the heath, bi-colored spray roses which looked like some other Scottish flowers. Grapevine to bring brambles to mind.
Russ’ clan tartan, & his tam o’shanter are incorporated as well. It was my honor to create this for our dear friend.
