Valley Forge National Historical Park 🇺🇸 We had an extra couple hours to spend before arriving at the airport. Winter encampment for the Continental Army 1777-78, more than 12,000 soldiers with some family members. A safe haven to learn new military skills and fight as a more unified army. Approximately 30 miles away for Philadelphia, which was occupied by the British that winter. If your vacation plans include Philadelphia, include and extra day to explore out to Valley Forge. Just outside the park are hotels, restaurants, casino, and Top Golf. ⛺️🎖️🇺🇸

🍇 Wine tasting in the countryside of Montevideo, Uruguay 🇺🇾 we visiting two family wineries and was introduced to a new wine called Tannat. The grapes are sweet off the vine and hearty in the glass. 🍷 We had the good fortune to arrive when the Sauvignon Blanc we just picked and put into the sorter. The owners son greeted us and let us taste the grapes still warm from the sun.☀️A great first full day in Montevideo!
