There’s a lot happening in the world right now.
It’s a lot to take in.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, triggered, or exhausted… you’re not alone.

A somatic check-in isn’t about ignoring what’s happening—
it’s about giving your body a moment of support within it.

Even a small pause can help you come back to yourself.

The Chinese New Year begins February 17th and tonight we have the first full moon of 2026! I hope these ancestral and seasonal teachings resonate with you and inspire curiosity and hope as we move forward together.

I’m so grateful for all of the journeys I’ve had the great honor of witnessing, the support I’ve received from wise teachers, and the opportunity to share and learn so many lessons alone the way. ✨🫶🏽🪷

Had some “technical difficulties” (seemed to be a theme across the board for many of us) last week and didn’t post the full exercise 😅 but here it is ! ~~~

Put your thoughts to the test with the THINK exercise. This can also be used when deciding what and how to express your thoughts and feelings. Before you speak, see if it passes the test.

Just a reminder: your body is a sacred, self-healing tool. It knows what it needs and seeks balance, we just have to slow down long enough to hear it’s wisdom. If we don’t it’ll be sure to let us know! So be kind to it and rest 😅🫶🏽💕🌱

No Mud, No Lotus: The Art of Transforming Suffering
Thic Nhat Hanh

“It is of course easy to get stuck in the mud of life… The hardest thing to practice is not allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by despair… We’re afraid of being overwhelmed by the pain, so we always seek to run away from it... we try to cover it up by consuming... But we must remember that suffering is a kind of mud that we need in order to generate joy and happiness. Without suffering, there’s no happiness. We have to learn how to embrace and cradle our own suffering and the suffering of the world, with a lot of tenderness.”
