Early extension is usually panic.
It’s the body standing up because it doesn’t trust the downswing.
If you’re trying to get to P5 clean, don’t “clear harder.”
Let the arms fall first.
Feel:
• Pressure into lead heel
• Trail shoulder working down
• Trail elbow falling toward front hip
• Glutes staying back like they’re on a wall
If the club falls to P5, it’ll feel heavy and shallow.
If you jump, you’re spinning too soon.
Let it fall. Then rotate.
That’s the move. ⛳

Most golfers want to fix impact.
But impact is just the echo.
If you don’t understand P1–P4…
you’re guessing.
P1 is your foundation.
P2 is face control.
P3 is structure.
P4 is stored power.
Under pressure, you don’t magically “find it.”
You fall back on your structure.
As I am stepping back into competitive golf, this is where I’m starting. Not chasing feels. Rebuilding checkpoints.
If you’re serious about improving, stop obsessing over the result… and clean up the sequence.

Nirvana literally means to breathe out.
To extinguish.
To let go.
Golf is the same exhale.
The more you cling to the last shot, the tighter you swing the next one. The more you try to force perfection, the more the game resists.
The swing moves through you instead of from you.
Every shot is an exhale.
Strike it.
Let it go.
That’s your nirvana on the course.
The right coach doesn’t just fix your path or face.
Your coach understands your pressure.
Your tempo.
Your inner dialogue.
Coach the person, and the swing follows.
Don’t quit on the game.
Don’t quit on you.
Find a coach you can trust. If you don't have one and you still suck then maybe it is time to make a change.
Sometimes the fix isn’t louder.
It’s lighter.
Two fingers off the grip with your trail hand.
Let the pinky and ring finger hover.
Instantly… the urge to throw the club from the top softens. The trail hand can’t hijack the downswing. The face squares from motion, not manipulation.
Pressure drops.
Sequence improves.
Strike cleans up.
It’s amazing how often “over-trying” is the real swing flaw.
