Hi! The firm I'm partnered with (North Star Resource Group) has an internship opportunity in Austin.

What: Flexible paid internship for a role as a financial advisor/financial planner with potential post grad job offer

Who: If personal finance interests you, if you love to build long term relationships, if you have discipline to work hard, if you thrive off making a difference for the everyday person, if you want to make a lot of money some day, if you like the idea of owning your own practice and the responsibility and freedom that comes with that.

My Connection: I did this type of internship in college while in TEA, was offered the job for post grad, I started after graduation in 2015 and partnered with North Star Resource Group in 2018. So please reach out to me with any questions! I've been through this myself and would love to help somebody else find their calling. Go UT Econ!
Meeting tomorrow at 6 BRB 1.118
Hi all!!

The Developing Economist is now accepting applications to join its editorial team. TDE is one of only a handful of published undergraduate economics research journals and it is completely student-run.

Because the journal is published annually, applications are open only once a year. During the fall semester, the editorial team works on developing the technical skills needed to read economic research. In the following spring semester, the team reviews the submissions and readies the accepted papers for publication.
Joining TDE is a great way to get acquainted with research in economics, particularly for those interested in writing a thesis.

If you’re interested in joining, please fill out the online application here: https://forms.gle/xMenBNzABf9EyDUL7
Along with the Google Form, please submit a resume and cover-letter.

The application closes at 11:59 PM on October 25th.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
