After two weeks of LIFT Lifestyle here’s some feedback from the group:

5lbs weight loss

Sleep is 100% better

Noticing how little thought went into how they FELT after they ate and how their body reacted. Now using this awareness to w**d out foods that don’t agree with them.

First time in a LONG time without heartburn

Bloating/joint inflammation is almost gone

More energy

We kick off Lifestyle this Saturday at 11am!

It’s tough to come up with a name of a nutrition and wellness program that embodies honoring your body without sounding like you’re applying for work at GOOP. LIFT Lifestyle just IS a lifestyle. The meaning is so simple. Get adequate sleep, eat to fuel your body, workout to honor it and then get up and do it again.

This is not a challenge where we cut everything out (although to some who are less informed on the dangers of daily chick-fil-a would argue), we just move those favorites around. Yes we drink, yes we eat dessert, yes we have free meals. That’s life. The key is learning HOW to fit it in and when to take a pass. Learning to listen to your bodies response and then take that feedback and apply it. It takes time..I’d say about 90 days 😉

The shiny new of the move has worn off and we are settling. This brings all the emotions, discomforts, and comforts. The missing of people, food and of our ATX life. And the food. Did I say food? Ok good, just making sure everyone realizes the food in Austin is way better than everywhere else.

NO REGRATS 😂. We are loving it. Tall trees, running trails, cheaper car insurance, liquor stores open on Sundays, cooler weather and my daily wake up opening my eyes to the reason I moved. I made the right choice….perfection.

Kristi from June 2019- present day. It takes TIME and CONSISTENCY. There is no easy fix. Your sleep habits, the kindness and consideration you treat your body with, and the energy you feed (food=energy) yourself with will show up on you. Not everyone has the same goals. Kristi had inflammation/bloating and carried extra fat she didn’t want. Here’s her story.

- First things first: Life Lifestyle completely changed my life. When I joined, I knew my eating, drinking, and sleeping weren’t working for me, but I had no idea how to fix it. I was so uncomfortable in my skin and felt like food controlled me at every turn. The trust and respect I have for Jen and our community gave me the courage I needed to fully lean into my new lifestyle.

- In the beginning half of my first Lift Lifestyle cycle, I got rid of the inflammation in my gut and my sugar addiction. By the end of my second cycle in December 2019, I had lost 30lbs. Jen showed me how SIMPLE it is to feed myself right. No guesswork. All facts. And wow, it really worked.

- I never gave up the foods and drinks I love on Lift Lifestyle. Especially in the beginning, my scheduled free meals and desserts kept me on track the rest of the week. I could still drink a glass or two of wine, go to my favorite restaurants, and indulge in a bowl of popcorn every now and then. But, it’s truly a lifestyle program. Over time, I’ve learned how different foods affect my body, and I’ve stopped craving the foods that make me feel uncomfortable. And I still drink the wine….

- I loved Lift Lifestyle, its community, and my results so much that I kept going back. Jen keeps me honest, keeps me motivated, and is always there to work with me if something goes haywire. She is the backbone, the strong support that drives this sort of transformation through to success. It’s a hard change, it’s work. But it’s doable and so so worth it. I integrated the lessons I learned in this program into my daily life and made them work for me. Even after that very first cycle in summer 2019, I knew I’d NEVER go back to how I used to be.

In my world education never stops. The shut down was the longest period of time I’ve not actively pursued a certification, studying or going to classes at Austin community college. Sommelier certifications to do what I do best 🍷🥂, accounting classes to run the gym , and a lot … A LOT of nutrition to serve our clients with LIFT lifestyle . It never stops, the cup is ALWAYS half full.
