Upbring, the new Lutheran Social Services of the South, is a 134 year-old nonprofit organization with a rich legacy of serving vulnerable people across Texas through innovative programs and services for children including foster care, adoption, education, residential treatment and community services. Upbring Foster In Texas provides safe, loving homes for 2,000 children every year. Upbring Foster In Texas is one of the largest providers of foster care and adoption services in Texas with 14 offices across the state. For 135 years, our Upbring heroes on our foster care team have connected children with families who provide compassion, safety and support, and when needed, loving forever families.
