We are a small, growing animal hospital looking to hire a compassionate and motivated individual for a full time or part time receptionist to our team. We are centrally located near downtown Austin, and strive to provide the best in veterinary care and medicine to all our patients.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is attentive to all the clients and patients needing our care. It is important that you are friendly, punctual, reliable, a quick learner and able to adapt to our small team of receptionists. This position requires both multi-tasking and attention to detail.

Client care experience is strongly desired for this position. Medical or veterinary office experience is also preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. A flexible work schedule is required. Availability for holidays and weekends are also required.

We offer generous employee pet discounts, PTO, and holiday pay. We also offer a competitive insurance and dental package to all full time employees. Hourly pay to commensurate with experience.

The winter holidays are fun for humans—but our parties, decorations, and festive foods can put our pets at risk! Here are a few tips for keeping your animal companion safe this season:
Keep pets away from holly, mistletoe, poinsettias, and lilies, which can be toxic to varying degrees for both dogs and cats.
Chocolate, raisins, grapes, onions, currants, macadamia nuts, and walnuts are all on the naughty list for pets. Also, beware of xylitol—an artificial sweetener found in chewing gum, candy, and peanut butter—which can cause illness and even death.
Be mindful of sparkly decorations that may tempt your feline companions. They can get tangled in the pretty, shiny garlands, and that's no fun for anyone!
