Austin Carriage

Neighborhood rides sold out for Valentines evening. We hope to have openings at the Domain North. If you are planning dinner call and see if we can set up a service. $75 half hour from Flemmings but with a small service fee we can pick you up at your location in the Domain.

We have only 3 one hour rides left for valentines. The rides are 1 hour through the old west Austin homes located near Mopac and Windsor. Cost is $250 for the hour. You are welcome to bring a snack and a beverage of choice to enjoy on your ride. Book early and we suggest before dinner because restaurants tend to over book and run late to insure they have guest that book will show or have another guest to fill their place.

Yes! It's really cold. Get ready for freezing rain. Don't forget to cover door k***s too if you want easy entry.

Make sure all your feed is served wet to avoid a dry colic. Extra wet hay pellets if you are stalled and use less loose hay.

We have a few spaces left for Christmas neighborhood light rides and special events. Call for prices and availability to get your family out for an evening ride through a quiet west Austin older neighborhood ride.

We are starting to take reservations for Christmas parties and commercial service. There will be a few nights that carriages will be able to do add on service rides. There are (5th year) no carriages in downtown Austin doing street service rides.

Been a long time since l had to scrape mud off my shoes. Hope we get some relief for the hay growers.

On this day we remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. But also to remember the family members that lost so much so that we can sit in the safety of our homes with our loved ones.

There are no carriage rides left in Austin as all the carriage companies quit working in the downtown area in early 2019.

We do special events at locations other than the downtown area. The cost for service is $300 for an hour plus delivery fees that vary by location. If you would like to set up a prepaid service please let us know where you would like the service and we can give you a full cost pricing.

Wow! It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! We will be open 12.24 until 9pm but closed 12.25 so we can all be with our families.

There are still a few openings before Christmas. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas so bundle up and take a seasonal ride. Happy Thanksgiving. A time to reflect on the happy times and past family and friends. Even in these hard times there are many friends and family to lean on. This is not the only day to celebrate and give thanks for the many past wonders in our lives but for the ones still to come.

I hope others are enjoying the cool mornings as much as we are after such a long dry hot summer. Sure could use a few 1 to 2 inch rains before the hay grow season is over. Hay is as hard to find as it is to pay for if you find it.

The boys are staying out of the heat and take short showers during the day. There will be a super moon tonight to light up their night. Did you know that every time you look at the moon you see the same side. The back side of the moon is never visible from earth.

Happy 4th of July! Please place your animals and pets in a safe place. Be sure you pet has an ID tag if they get scared easy and you are not there to comfort them. We are headed down to the barn to put the boys inside. They don't mind the fireworks but the crazy bullets have no real targets.

The rain was a great relief for us and our hay and feed providers. Still with the high temperatures we will not be offering any services until we have a steady below 90 degree days.

We are getting several request for early February for our carriages to attend daddy daughter dances. Lets hope the weather is better this year than last years snow event in mid February. We had to replace over 400 foot of pipe.

We had a really great year. Thank you to all the folks that booked their special events with us. We are now closed for the rest of this year so we can be with our family too.
