Release fear. Let it go. Let it be gone. Write down your intentions. Write down your thoughts. Connect the dots. Ask yourself, what makes me safe in this present moment?There is so much power in the here and now. Are you being chased by a bear? An elephant? A person, right now? What is happening in the environment around you? What can you do? What’s within your power vs what is not? I know one thing from my trips around the sun this far- being afraid, of anything, never helped anyone solve a problem. Just breathe. Courage in the face of fear. Poetic justice of empowerment. One creative, exciting, individualistic yet collective day at a time- we can overcome, we can build, and we can release fear. Replace those stories that hold you back- release the programs and brainwashing that keep society playing small. Courage > Fear. Recognize the fear and where it comes from; confront it like a lion, and hold it as a lamb, gently with gratitude for its intention to protect. Release. Repeat.

I am still in awe, shock, gratitude and wonder of the and the opportunities to learn, educate and connect with others. I sent a late abstract to be invited to speak again at the this coming July, when I was responded to with an invitation to take a lecture spot at the conference in Miami, FL last minute, as another lecturer had bailed. I agreed eagerly and then suddenly knows that I needed to produce Continuing medical education materials ASAP. Whoa. A heavy load. A lot of pressure. But I stepped up, and I feel that I brought a softer, more clinical practice edge to the discussion. Following the lead of incredible providers such as , I realize my role in this wild industry of aging gracefully. I had no idea where the connections would lead, the feelings, the sheer happiness of like minded souls being United. In an industry that is not always rainbows and butterflies, we had our moment. Have our moments. And together we learn, heal and grow. Cheers to women in leadership. Cheers to connection. Cheers to aging with the greatest knowledge available.

Imagine. Imagination. Where did all of these products, brands, inventions come from?
A place of deep imagination. If we stop imagining, we stop the flow of advancements. If we stop dreaming, we stop imagining. Imagination definition according to Webster’s is: the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images, or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. Imagine creating the life that you sense is in your best interest, and then working, diligently, daily, hourly, to create that life that you desire. This occurs not only through action, but also via flow. Now is the time to advance and demand our value and worth in order to continue to create , imagine, help and heal ourselves and others through connection. Connect your thoughts, focus, take action and little by little, poquito poquito, your imagination will turn into a formation of reality. Play, laugh, pursue joy and relationships that help you grow. Not everyone will support your imagination, and that’s ok. Do you think that Madonna worries about the fans that don’t like her? No- she focuses on creating for the ones that do. Silly example perhaps, but stop giving others power to destroy your imagination. This world need your gifts and YOUR unique imagination.

Stop littering. Stop littering this land, this earth, this planet 🌎. Stop littering your mind and your space not to mention your energy with those people, places and things that no longer serve you. Let go and clear out the space between you and the best version of yourself. Purge out the excess, the clutter, and the LITTER-al garbage that you are allowing and have allowed in.
My heart aches when I see litter. A part of me cries inside. Since Austin has grown so rapidly in population, the litter in our green country, near river beds and creeks have become so polluted that I wonder if we will run out of water at some point—— this has actually been speculated to happen. The rivers can fill with plastic so deeply that they stop flowing, then what will we do? How will we handle this catastrophe?
I will be spending some time coordinating a volunteer, pick up litter crew amongst friends, acquaintances and colleagues over the next couple of months. Yes, I will do this in addition to my other responsibilities, which are abundant, because this is a calling from Mother Nature. Pick up a piece of trash today. Do it for the future of humanity.
