Got this from the Volunteers of the Valencia County Shelter - I could not figure out how to share it to your page. So tried this!
Take care, & stay safe!
Thank you so much for helping with the stray girl I found and letting me hang out there until Travis County Animal Control showed up. I really appreciate you helping me help the sweet labrador.
Merry Christmas!

Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.

Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.

Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Veterinarian, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Veterinarian in our local Welcome Kits.

It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 55% of new residents and families seek out a new Veterinarian shortly after their relocation. As such, more than one-half of our Welcome Kit recipients are actively looking for a new Vet.

I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

Please reply with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience.

For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me on my cell which is listed in my signature.

Thanks.

How you know the vet visit went well - the cat puts herself in the carrier just hours later and hubby looks at the invoice and says, "Now that's what I like to see!"

A full service small animal hospital with advanced care techniques and a compassionate nature.

This past week was Employee Appreciation Week. We had a treat every day! Thank you Dr Winston and Dr Carpenter!!!!
Thursday one of our clients brought us a feast!!! Thank you Terry Bailey; you always spoil us!!!! (Pics of Terry’s treats for us!)

Sometimes it takes getting down on all fours to help a patient. We thank Dr Carpenter for the care that she gave to sweet Stella!!!

09/21/2023

We will answer the phones, but neither doctor will be available on Friday the 22nd as we will be down in San Antonio learning about new ways we can serve our patients!

Who would like a case of dog food topped with a cat???
Just kidding!😂😂😂
Ronda wouln’t give Tessa away to anyone!💖💝

Did you know that today is National Check the Chip day? It is celebrated annually on August 15. It’s that time of the year when we raise awareness regarding the importance of micro chipping.

A lost pet can’t tell anyone where he lives. Make sure its microchip can!😉😍

Our hospital will be closed on Tuesday July 4th
Please keep an eye on your furry ones and keep them safe!!

Welcome and thank you Zach!!!
Zach is going to be starting his second year in Vet school at Texas A&M. He has one more day left with us, as a weeklong internship. We are so happy he picked us and have REALLY APPRECIATED his help this week!! 😘😘
In a few years, he is going to be an amazing veterinarian with a A+ bedside manner!
Best of luck to you Zach😁

To say we are estatic is not good enough. We are beyond thrilled to have Sarah back in the hospital with us!! 🥰🥰🥰
Sarah is going into her third year in Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M. When she’s home for breaks, she spends her days working with us. We all adore her.!!!! Pretty soon, she will be a veterinarian herself, and will be one of the best 😍
She is going into small animal medicine, but cats are kind of her thing ! 😉🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 She is SO good with them!
She just finished a four week externship at a Cat Clinic in Worthing, England (cute pic of her there with a darling kitty in the comments)
Thank you Sarah for coming back for a few weeks this summer. We love you so much!!!!!! 😍🥰😘🥰

Everyone say hi to Dena!

Dena joined us in February. We are so glad that she stopped by that day and asked us if we were hiring! 😃

Dena has been in the veterinary tech/client care field since 1993. She took time off to raise her children, and then came back!!!!!

Dena works up front, but fills in as tech often throughout the day.💖You can see Dena running her little legs off, helping us in every way that she can! We are so glad she is with us!!!
🥰🥰🥰

We are thrilled to have Madeline join us this summer as a veterinary assistant!! We are honored to have a salutatorian (& now a Longhorn!) on our team! She is so hardworking, smart & sweet & has a huge heart for animals! Big things are in her future!!

Dr Carpenter gave this sweet girl extra squeezes today during her appt!!!! Isn’t she just the cutest???? I’m talking about Brie, but Dr Carpenter is cute too!😉😛

Look at this this little cutie patootie with Dr Winston!! He was stinkin adorable! 🥰

Photos from Village Veterinary Hospital's post 06/09/2023

We wanted to post this picture of these adorable, sweet, fat, precious, squeezable puppies from yesterday. There are 9 of them 😳. Often when people think of a veterinary hospital, they think this is what we get to do all day. Unfortunately, that is not the case. We have so many emergencies, surgeries, and appointments that most of the time it is all work, and no play. But yesterday, we had a mama dog that had these precious babies come in. (we told the owner to go home and bring the pups in too because mom was going to need to feed them!) at the end of our day we actually hade a few minutes to do what most people think we get to do all day! We got to squeeze each and everyone of these puppies, and hold them and cuddle them for a few minutes. It was so much fun! 🥰😍

We are celebrating Dr Winston’s birthday today!! We love this guy!! He is such a rock star and we appreciate all he does for us!!! If you see him, wish him a big happy day!!!!!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!🍀AND, Happy Gertrude of Neville’s Day!!😻

Are you wondering what Gertrude of Neville is? Well, here you go!!!

St. Gertrude, Patron Saint of Cats.

One of the most famous stories of St. Gertrude and cats is that she was once chased by a group of mice. She prayed to God for help and a group of cats appeared and chased away the mice. From then on, she was often depicted in artwork holding a cat!!!!! 😸
"Most claim her association with cats stems from a feline's predatory instinct to catch and chase away rodents. During her time serving in her city, St. Gertrude was frequently summoned by the townsfolk to ward off illness and rodent infestations."

Everyone say hi to Lauren! Lauren is our newest vet tech assistant. She has been with us since September and we love her!!
Lauren has told us she has had her heart set on taking care of animals ever since she was seven years old 💜and it shows on how she treats the furry ones!!! She loves them!
When Lauren isn’t helping one of the doctors or one of the vet techs, she is busy keeping our clinic clean and spotless!. We are sooo happy she is on our team!!!!😍

02/21/2023

Just look at this handsome fella with Kim!! (Kim thinks he pretty handsome too!)💙

02/16/2023

We LOVE when a client stops by with a cute little visitor like this!!! Just look at this newborn cutie🥰 Ronda gave her plenty of love!!!💝

02/16/2023

Dr Winston did it again! 😳😬
Don’t let your dog get a hold of rope- toys, and swallow them 😞
This came out of the small intestines via surgery, rope and a bit of rubber from the toy 😌
Doggie is doing fine!!! 😍

02/07/2023

We want to wish a very special Happy Birthday to Ronda, the BEST Client Care Coordinator ever!!! Her kind, loving, gentle, helpful ways & warm smile make animals & humans both adore her! We are so very grateful & blessed she is part of our team & SO glad she is our “den mother” too!!!

We have to brag on one of our rockstar veterinarians AGAIN!!! Dr. Winston removed some hair ties and a sock, AGAIN, out of the stomach of a sweet, adorable patient of ours. Happy to report that patient is doing well at home and hopefully not eating any more items that he shouldn’t!!!!
