We’re always looking for great wearable diamond earrings, these are just right! Lovely antique diamond pear drop earrings are set in platinum. The total diamond weight is approximately 4 carats in total weight. 

Congrats to Jasper and Suzannah on their surprise Austin, Texas wedding. Susannah wore her sapphire and diamond Bell & Bird engagement ring paired with one of our signature cut-away half hoop bands and Jasper wore a Bell & Bird men's wedding band. ⁠

The moon presides over every coming into being. For millennia we have been fascinated by its eternal cycling and the reassuring cadence of shadow and light. The crescent moon, in particular, is often depicted in jewelry and is one of the oldest symbols known to man. Examples are known to date back over 4000 years. Symbolically it represents the alluring promise of a beginning wherever there is an end and the promise of more light to come. ⁠

Early 19th Century gold torpedo shaped earrings. Creating cannetille work is a time-intensive process that involves stretching gold into thin threads and coiling the threads into elaborate and intricate designs. Day and Night design allows the tops to be worn alone. English in origin. Circa 1820. ⁠

19th century diamond earring in a naturalist motif of flowers and leaves. Both old mine cut and rose cut diamonds are set in silver on gold settings. The realistic design is typical of the naturalist movement of the late 1860s which produced many exceptional diamond pieces in this style. The time period coincided with a newly discovered diamond source in Africa. ⁠

The earrings are paired with a 19th century diamond half hoop ring, with eleven bright old mine cut diamonds, in a silver-topped gold style setting. ⁠

Important 19th century old mine cut diamond bracelet. Over 150 elongated old mine cut diamonds are set in a silver topped gold setting. The contemporary feel of this bracelet along with its fine materials and craftsmanship dating to the 1850’s combine to make this bracelet so special. Paired with a set of 19th century old mine cut diamond pendant earrings, set in silver topped gold with cut down settings. The mix of old mine cut and rose cut diamonds are bright and eye clean. The design elements are hinged and have wonderful movement when worn. ⁠

One of our favorite 2020 Bell & Bird ready made rings! Made with a center antique 1.92 carat old mine cut diamond and flanked by two antique old pear shaped diamonds, set in our 18k old gold. This one didn't even make it to the website before it was claimed. Congratulations @ccragland and @sarah_story_artlife on their Deer Valley engagement this past winter. The bracelet is hand fabricated from solid 18k gold and is notably heavy. 7 carre cut diamonds are set into the face. Four baguette diamonds and a pair of carré cut diamonds surround a central antique Hexagon step cut stone. Bell & Bird Diamond Acorn Pendant⁠

Each acorn is hand fabricated in 18k gold without any castings or molds. As in nature, each one is unique. The acorn cap holds over 100 diamonds in varied sizes, each forming a mosaic effect. Acorns hold great symbolism as the small seed of the mighty oak tree. For centuries they have been used in decorative arts to represent potential, strength and longevity. In 1797 D. Everett wrote "Large streams from little fountains flow. Tall oaks from little acorns grow." We too believe that great things come from small beginnings.⁠
