Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.
Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Dentist, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Dentist in our local Welcome Kits.
It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 70% of new residents and families seek out a new Dentist shortly after their relocation. As such, 7 out of 10 recipients of our Welcome Kits are actively looking for a new Dentist.
I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.
Please reply with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience.
For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me on my cell which is listed in my signature.
Thanks.

Ahhh..it’s now November and the downhill slide into the holidays has officially begun. There’s Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day and…NATIONAL FLOSSING DAY, which traditionally takes place the day after Thanksgiving. Basically a reminder that if you leave all that nasty turkey between your teeth they will turn black and fall out. Hence the name “Black Friday” 😉. But seriously, flossing each night before you go to bed is a great way to avoid having nasty bacteria grow between your teeth that can cause gum damage. Not to mention some seriously stinky breath. If it’s been a minute since you’ve swiped that silky string between your pearlies, just take a whiff of the floss after you’re done and you’ll smell what we mean. Make sure you have a fainting couch near by 🤢. So for healthy gums, sweet smelling breath and overall swell dental health, floss (a flosspick will do and a water pick is amazing) your teeth before you hit the hay. A good gift to give yourself (and your loved ones).

As we head into the last week of September we are JUST in time to recognize our amazing Office Manager Flo Fox for . 25 years of keeping our office running smoothly. We love you Flo!!

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your health to pursue your life as an artist. We continue to be honored to work with HAAM as we have for the past 20 years and are excited about this new platform that makes it even easier to support the health and wellness of Austin’s music community.
HAAM Day 2022 HAAM Day is the biggest fundraiser for the year for Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. Your support is critical to providing healthcare access to Central Texas' low-income working musicians. Every dollar raised is leveraged into $7 of healthcare services including: health insurance, premium assis...

Vitamin C plays an important role as an immune booster against gum disease and promoting the formation of blood vessels and vital tissues essential for healthy teeth and gums. In fact, those with low levels of C (ascorbic acid) can experience bleeding gums. Our bodies do not produce vitamin C so you can only take it it as a part of your diet. You can get your daily rec of 75 mg. for women and 90 for men from an orange, a cup of strawberries, chopped red pepper or broccoli!
This is our version of "don't try this at home"🤣

We do everything we can to keep the patient's original teeth. We only remove teeth that are unhealthy in order to keep you in overall good dental health and usually precede solutions such as implants, partials, or dentures.

Gum disease aka periodontitis can be a serious dental issue it can also lead to other health problems throughout your body. It can also cause bad breath🤢 If you are experiencing symptoms of gum disease we will treat the area to reduce inflammation, bone and tooth loss. We will make recommendations on how to care for the affected area and what you can do to keep your gums healthy.

Root canals sound scary but they can be addressed by our team with minimal pain and discomfort. Regular checkups mean you will catch the problem early and avoid more headaches down the road. If you experience pain in between check-ups do not wait!

Happy World Health Day! Did you know that dental health is an actual sign of your overall health? Taking care of your teeth and visiting your dentist twice a year for checkups not only ensures that you will prevent more serious issue with your teeth and gums but also helps with prevention of more serious conditions like heart disease

Happy Dental Hygienist Week Val! She will make your dental cleaning a breeze; in and out of the chair before you know it!

A new study from the American Dental Association asserts that candy, and sugar in general, can be beneficial for your teeth.

Removable teeth, or dentures, are supported by hard and soft tissue. If this is the best option for you, we will work with you to ensure the best fit and look for your smile.

A fun fact that's not so fun...to the coffee enthusiast, black coffee is quite acidic, and if you drink a lot of black coffee, you may be weakening your enamel and creating an environment in your mouth that's more conducive to bacteria growth, which can lead to tooth decay and even gum disease. Make sure to take care of those pearlies and don't skip your dental check-ups!

Getting in the chair can be the hardest part (and remembering to floss every day). We'll make the rest easy. Book your routine exam and cleaning today!

Dental implants are prosthetic teeth that are surgically implanted into the bone. A crown is then placed on the implant providing an ideal long term option for those with a healthy bone structure as these feel and act much like natural teeth.

Happy World Oral Health Day! Remember that your teeth are just as important to your health as any other part of your body. Remember to book that Dentist appointment you've been putting off!

A bridge is a fixed dental restoration or prosthesis that is used to replace missing teeth or several teeth by joining an artificial tooth permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. We work with you on ensuring that your bridge or partial is an ideal fit that looks and works perfectly.

Ditch sugar for spice, don't chew on your ice! Cigs and coffee stain your teeth (and your breath? not so nice).

Need a touchup or just a dental makeover? Bonding and veneers are restorations that improve the overall look of your front teeth!

Did you misplace your dentures or know someone who did? Not to worry, we can help you out with that! Happy National False Teeth Day😄

While National Dentist Day was officially on March 6th, isn't everyday Dentist's Day? It is here at Ty Davidson DDS!

We all know who the tooth fairy is...

Goldfish anyone? Think again, they get stuck in your teeth and might be worse than candy for cavities.

Need a touch-up? We offer tooth-colored fillings, which is done by replacing the metal and amalgam fillings of days gone by, tooth-colored fillings are safe, long-lasting and blend perfectly with your natural tooth color!

Your last dentist appointment? There is no such thing! Checking your teeth every six months is like going to your general doctor for your annual check-up! Even kids know they gotta go!

When cavities are too large to fill, we will typically have to restore or “crown” them. We take a mold of your existing tooth, create a ceramic restoration. This method allows us to create a tooth that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing!

Healthy baby teeth help your child chew, speak, smile, and they hold space for the adult teeth. Make sure to book that appointment for the kiddo's!

Toothache? Pain is your body's way of signaliing that something is wrong, so listen to your teeth and get it checked out. The longer you wait, the worse you will ache!

Many people are not aware that Periodontitis, a.k.a Gum Disease, gum infection that, without treatment, can destroy the bone that supports your teeth, seep into your bloodstream, and can cause serious health complications, like heart disease. the good news is it is completely diagnosable and preventable. Be sure to book an appointment for your routine cleaning and checkup!

Visiting your dentist twice a year remains the best way to ensure your dental health. After a thorough cleaning, by our hygienist Val, Dr. Davidson reviews you chart, examines your teeth and discusses any issues or concerns.

Small changes can make a big difference...if you Floss 1st, Brush 2nd then Rinse you increase your overall dental health!

While it hasnt been proven that multi colored, attractive tooth brushes are better for your pearlies we believe that it makes brushing more fun...and that's just better all around right?

Looking to get your teeth whitened? We have you covered! Our teeth whitening method is highly effective in keeping your “pearlies” the right shade of white.

Don't let anyone steal your teeth!🦷

First impressions are always important! Here at Ty Davidson DDS we will make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in!

Happy Halloween 👻 Check out these sweet tooth tips, and eat that candy with no regrets!
